gooner4life
Stats can be deceiving dude.Tell me where is the improvement from last season. We are still vulnerable to set pieces. We are still not entirely sure whether to play high line or to sit back.Changing players is the way out I think. We must improve on what we lack but we aren't. Watch the 2nd half of our last game.Absymall defending. We were pretty lucky to get the win.If we want to win something this is not the way I think. Attacking I agree fully. We need to work on it and must get a striker. And torres is not sh*t its the mid field that is sh*t. I am not sure this is the case where stats are deceiving you. We HAVE improved bro. Last season we conceded 50 goals in EPL. We have conceded only 18 till half way line this season. If that is not improvement then what is? Not even a blind person can say we have not improved. We have improved our defending from open play as well as set pieces.

They ooze with creativity! What the hell did your Mata, oscar and that road runner created today.absolutely nothing and I mean absolutely nothing.Apart from that mata shot what did chelsea create?Hell azpiculeta created more chances for chelsea today than these tri-murti. Kaju why you laugh bro? Gooner bro I don't find any improvement over last year. That 4-2 win you saw the 2goals we conceded and that bradford game also stupid defending. Madhav
Seriously, Torres is nothing like what he was at Liverpool... Do not try to blame every element except Torres!! He has never been the same El-Nino after his knee injury.. His finesse, agility, quickness have all gone and significantly impacted his tactical awareness, off the ball movement and confidence!! Period
The Wolfy among us
Hope, Chelsea had 18 shots on goal. So what you saying, without the midfield being involved how did that happen? Torres was wandering around still acting like the prince expecting people to pass to him. In this team, with people like Mata, Hz and Oscar, if the forward isn't in the right position, they're not going to wait around, they'll shoot themselves. hope
18 shots most of them were from luiz who thought it was rugby shooting way above. Torres is not the same I agree. But he is made to look sh*t by the mid field display. 16 goals and he has played all chelsea matches.what more can you ask from a player. Any body watching last night would agree that chelsea were BS.See the next game when chelsea show more urgency and you would see a different torres. Slow football is debacle of Torres. Dark_Knight
Stupid Liverpool mid field doesnt pass to Downing at the right time. His runs go all in Vein Why did you join Liverpool Downing Aston Villa buy him back in Jan
shekdown
The problem with Torres is that he has changed his style of play despite losing a bit of pace, a constantly increasing turning radius, more aware defenders. He keeps trying to play the same way he used to play. He simply does not have the same skill-set anymore to do that. Ive always thought Torres to be an intelligent player. 3-4 years back I would have said he would change his style of play when he gets older. But he just doesnt seem to be doing that and thats costing him and Chelsea, both.
