Cash
Messi is a better player. He has proven it time and time again. But Casillas easily deserves more than anyone else. Also no scholes or Rvp. Before people start jumping, scholes almost won us the title last year. I think he deserves a spot. And Falcao over Rvp is just ridiculous, he has been absolutely brilliant

Anshul
my reply has nothing to do with Ronaldo, its just that Messi proved nothing when it comes to the national team. If given a choice, I'd pick Ronaldo anyday over Messi at United. Oh f*ck

Nikushimi
Scholes for Ballon d'Or? He's been a liability for the past two and a half years. Great player? yes? Time to retire? f**k yes.

Keano
As much as it hurts to say .. since coming out of retirement, Scholes has not been the same old one of the last decade. But, he still is better than some other midfield options we have right now(like playing Giggs at CM :doh:/>) Edited January 8, 2013 by Keano
Nikushimi
Yes, liability. He's part of the reason why we have a non-existent midfield right now. He is extremely limited in what he does. He offers zero protection, zero energy, players skip past him for fun and he gets booked or gases everytime he starts forcing a substitution that could be otherwise saved for injuries or tactical reasons. He can never be relied upon for an entire season and has to be micro-managed carefully to get matches from. He's very good at pinging long balls into the flanks but unfortunately that's the only thing he's good at right now. I love him as a player and he is imo the most gifted midfielder England has had since Paul Gascoine. But his age has caught up with him and his legs have abandoned him. He can't run anymore. He should retire gracefully and be proud of his glittering career and everything he has offered to Manchester United. Nikushimi
In Giggs' defense, he can still last for 90 minutes and do a little bit of leg work. Also, our wings aren't as bad as our midfield. In Scholes' case, he is in some way papering over the cracks in our midfield. We should've bought a new midfielder 3 years ago. It doesn't help the fact that the sort of games he gets (unimportant cup ties or last 20 minutes of a match already won) can be used to blood young players into the team. If you were Paul Pogba, what would you think when the manager recalls a 36 yo player from retirement while you wait in the sidelines for an opportunity? A lot of the blame has to go to Fergie too btw. Edited January 8, 2013 by Nikushimi

I wont agree with this one .. Scholes is not just being used in games which are won already. Fergie has been bringing one of the oldies in the games where United are leading by a slender margin and needs some level headed players in the middle of the park to see the game out. He will definitely retire at the end of the season.
