Im pretty sure Fabregas will stay atleast till the end of the next season. Only after that I have a gut feeling, he will leave. But we have Rambo. I dare say hes as good as Fabregas.

too light currently for the EPL :giggle:. Fabregas on the other hand was no hard man, but it was like he always had a 6th sense that told him where a player was coming from, and he would pass it quickly :)

Fabregas is one of the strongest central midfielders in the Premiership. Hes small and might not look rough, but he can easily muscle off a lot of defenders and midfielders. Hes done at several times already. He does have that extra-sense. His level of awareness is sublime. You can see how he scans the pitch in the 2 seconds before the pass reaches his feet. His mind tunes to the players, where they are and how he wants to pass and whom hes going to pass to. Simply brilliant.

i have a feeling that we'll never win anything as long as the team is built around Fabregas in the midfield. not saying he's not one of the best players in the world though.

putting Ramsey even after 1 year in charge of the midfield would be a bad decision. we'd have to undergo yet another season of adaptation and in the end fans would blame Wenger for his youth policy yet again

you guys wont win anything major until, you guys make some good purchases.

its one thing to have a bunchful of youngsters with potential, but thats not enough for an EPL/ CL.

just a couple of buys should do it. One Arshavin's made a huge difference.

actually, i dont think our team is that young at all - experience wise. the only 2 positions that are currently not good enough and are playing on potential are Denilson/Song and Walcott. the rest of the players are very effective, even if they are young like Nasri and Fabregas and have potential. Clichy,Sagna,Adebayor,RvP,Nasri are all good enough to make most of the first teams of top clubs.

this season we had to rely on Bendtner and Vela because for a large part of the season Adebayor and Walcott and for some games even Nasri were injured.

Fabregas hasnt had anyone teach him how to lead the team. When Vieira was around, he was learning how to handle his position, that was priority, he never really took note of the leading skills, with precision. Henry, Gilberto and Gallas, all those who followed Vieira have been average at best and are the last people who should be imparting their knowledge of leading a team. Fabregas, is learning by himself. I think in 2 years time he would be a splendid leader. Hes ok at the moment, hes just too reserved to himself to go and give one up the backside of a bad performer.

Absolute tripe.

Yes signings help, but the team is pretty strong as it is. I can guarantee silverware next season with the current team and yet we need to make sure of it by not adding pressure due to injuries, by signing a DMF and selling Adebayor.

The difference is that potential has come to forefront already. Last season was a disaster mainly due to lack of depth. Injuries to players that was unexpected at different times, and return dates that kept getting postponed. That was the only reason we didnt win silverware. You want to talk about Arsenal's potential, go talk about the youth team. Now thats scary potential. The main squad has a players who have already proved themselves.

Im 100% sure arsenal will win something next season.

Precisely. Agree with everything but the last line.

Bendtner did relatively well, just that people jump on his back too much. Hes a quality player. And we almost never relied on Vela, which infuriated me. Vela barely played last season when he should have played twice more than he did. Adebayor is a waste of space. Chuck that choot out.

yep, he's going to be a great 'un for the future, and given some improvement he could be better than Adebayor's 30 goals. But for now, i'd be happy if we played Vela and Bendtner in the Carling Cups. remember the 10(-3?) thrashing in pre season :)

this is the team id like for next season :

--------------------------Almunia--------------------------

Sagna-------Vermaelen---------Gallas------------Clichy

----------------------new DM------------------------------

-------Nasri/Rosicky--------------Fabregas----------

v.Persie----------Ade/Edu/Bend------------Arshavin

kind of like Barca's :(

Fabregas and Rosicky/Nasri get the defensive cover they need from new DM, v.Persie plays his favoured Holland position, Arshavin plays his favoured left forward position, and Edu/Ade/Bend can be our goal poachers :(

not sure about the CB partnership, because i havent seen Vermaelen play

i am not sure but Sturridge is always played as a forward while Walcott is always played as a winger (correct me if Sturridge plays in diff position)

Walcott is pretty overrated but i wont stop defending him :P

winger hai to assists more hoti.

I am just having fun..
