ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
so you think you can win a league just by defending i was trying to say defenders played more key role than ronaldo last season in winning the pl ,up course u cant win just by defending,i was trying say we didnt win just because of ronaldo, its a team game
Grimmjow
no, you are saying you won because of your defenders. defenders doesnt include the MF or the attack does it? would hardly call that a whole team
ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
fletcher , carrick etc arent exactly goal scorers. ronaldo and tevez were. both are midfielders,no one can replace ronaldo, not even messi, amount goals ronaldo scores ,header, freekicks, can play on both the wings,if doesnt want to stay,we cant do anything,no one is bigger than club,we have good enough players to create chances, our only concern one who can put the ball back of the net,rvp was perfect for it, since he left ronaldo was our man, entire system was based on ronaldo,he doesnt score so does united, thats what happend last season,we didnt get many goals, since ronaldo left,i would like rooney and berbatov to step up,berbatov was dropping too deep last season,he didnt have enough chances.so was rooney, playing wide by end of the season, somehow i feel owen would be perfect this job,btw tevez wasnt great scorer he got 7goals at last season ,but his workerate .he doesnt wanted to stay at utd, since saf cant guarantee him starting place, with present utd squad u cant be sure who will start

SchneideR
Ohhh... Enuf... VALENCIA: See, we needed a winger who is in fact a winger and supplies the crosses to the attackers... Ronaldo was an attacker himself and seldom presented the crosses for our strikers. Valencia is more of your traditional winger who runs at defenders and produces good quality crosses. Manutd fans are happy at his arrival. f**k Ribery who wants to join Madrid. We dont need that "I want to join Madrid" sh*t happening again. OWEN: I dont know what's the fuss being made about Owen and the free transfer. So he came for free. Isnt that supposed to be good? He is paid a paltry sum for his services and most of it is performance related. It actually turns out for the best for United. We already have Rooney and Berba as our first choice strikers. Owen will be more than happy to play second fiddle to these two stalwarts. Again we are not bothered if he gets injured as we still have Kiko and Danny in our ranks. Finally: Lets face it, you all know that this is a sound deal for United at a stage when no f**ker wants to join us and all are lured to Madrid to join the "PROJECT" out there. Its obvious Sir Alex is not stupid to get a so called "BIG SIGNING" (like a manutd fan above pointed out) just for the heck of it. If he needs anyone high profile and if that player wants to join us then only can we make a move for him. We dont want a player who secretly admires a spanish team (a problem which both Arsenal (ARSHAVIN and FABREGAS) and Liverpool (Alonso and Mascherano) are facing currently) while we pay the salary for his sustainability. Grimmjow
a year late arent we? The Sun is a f**king idiotic paper. This quote was from last summer, at the time of the Euros BEFORE he signed for Arsenal when Barcelona and Tottenham were both interested in him. Plus Arshavin can barely speak English - its been translated from Russian. please wake me up when you have a better quote than The Sun

That's crap!!! You guys can breathe easy that Barca are not interested in him. Otherwise we all know where he'd end up without a moments hesitation... Grimmjow
.....when Barcelona and Tottenham were interested in him, he wanted to go to Barca. when Barca couldnt pay the asking price, he stayed. we weren't even involved at that time. the only time we were serious was in December 08, when we DID buy him, and he DID want to come to us. do me a favour, head over to arsenal-mania, and PM a member named 'rusal'. he'll tell you when/where the quote's from, because he's Russian, and unlike us he can read Russian

Mel81x
i think every player at the height of their career wants to be with the best team out there and only one thing changes that "Money". I am sure even the most stern of managers/owners wouldn't mind some easy cashflow right now to clear these ridiculous debts looming. I don't think United is in trouble at all. SAF is a smart manager and he will just use the current squad and bring up the youngsters to learn more. Arsene Wenger has a longterm dream and lets hope, for his sake and the sports, that he gets there because that would only leave a lot of dejected players looking for profitable exits even if they go to Scumfolk United (just clearing the air, this is not MUTD). Alonso and Mascherano only want to move to a Spanish league because the twinkle of silverware is in their eyes but as a Liverpool supporter, they aren't going anywhere because now they've got a taste of what is possible and if only Rafa keeps his gob shut for next season and actually focuses on the game instead of chelping at other managers, we might actually have another good title race on our hands come the start of the next PL. P.S. Ribery isn't sh*t he's just blindsided by the money at Madrid. Although I am curious to see how mr. spoiled brat aka CR plays at Real next season and how well they all gel together. MadridistaLove
P.S. Ribery isn't sh*t he's just blindsided by the money at Madrid. Although I am curious to see how mr. spoiled brat aka CR plays at Real next season and how well they all gel together. Real has already started keeping Ronaldo in check..When he was in LA,after the RM medical team cleared him, there was a sanction put on the amount of his outing and partying etc etc by RM..and he very well obeyed it! Most of these argentinians and portugese players feel at home playing in spain,portugal..unlike in england where the no.of players from these countries are very less..This is one of the factors that will keep him in check! Kaka is a very humble player..he doesnt give a sh*t about anything else expect the main thing, football! The most exciting thing is that all these players are young and have come in for positions which were weak or vacant at RM! As for ribery, seeing CR,Kaka,Benz join us at the bernebeau,he wants to play alongside these players..and of course the money factor too! But ribery has been acting very unprofessional at bayern by missing trainings to encourage BM to sell him! This is not done..This is not what is expected from a star player like ribery..Irrespective of this transfer happens or not,he needs to get his act right!
