rockstarnet
Who said that they didnt try signing him? They didnt offer him more money than you did which is proved in Wenger's statement, so unless you know more than Wenger himself on the topic or have some quote where RVP himself stated that thing, please stop acting as if he chose you over City despite them offering him more. And United fans like you are the reason why your club's fans are hated so much, trying to be on a moral high horse over rvp, atleast we don't try to behave in such a despicable manner while an opponent is taking a corner. The only ones who are pathetic are fans like you. Utter hypocrites. So pipe down & try to bully some other football supporter who might not be able to show such examples of your hypocrisy. Nothing special in your fanbase, you are only riding high on the on-field success of your club which has got nothing to do with fans. I dont think you cant bring supporters as a point in debate.Every club has their set of vile and despicable fans.I am pretty sure some of the Arsenal fans are capable of that coin throwing business. And why should one hate the team for their fans?Look at the team for what it is not their fans.I for one admire United's fighting spirit and wish we had some of that. And I dont give a toss about their fans. Nemo
Lukaku should have won young player award. Bale was monstrous, agreed but still, giving both awards to same person seems odd :|

LeonardoInventions
Lamps listed as former midfield player on chelsea tv http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/27/chelsea-tv-labels-frank-lampard-former-blues-midfielder-3668934/ Moyes got the manager of the year award, good good, lets hope the bitters have the same fate as magpies this year. Oh how I love how that smirk has disappeared from that c*nt pardew's face
Nemo
Moyes Respect and like that guy a lot, has almost always managed to keep his team above the Europa spot, when you factor in the annual exodus of "season's find" players from Everton and the meagre funds at his disposal, he has done really really well. Teams like Villa and Newcastle have had big swings the past few years after big players got themselves transferred out while some others even got relegated after a top 8 finish. Really amazing to see Moyes hold his bunch together, not crib about players being 'stolen' and just going about the business in a determined manner. rajprdp
you are a grade A **** RvP gave his everything for AFC for 7 years and finally decided to move on. He could've chosen Shitty to get a better contract than what he is on currently at United, but din do it. He chose a club which have better manager and better team mates during the twilight of his career. He has the decency to not celebrate either of his goals against Arsenal, even after all of this .. twats like you and thousands in the Emirates just cant deal with that. Pathetic set of fans. would you have welcomed Rooney with applause if he had moved to man city? i have nothing against him..it was his decision but it was hard to take for the arsenal fans because he moved to man united..he was booed because he moved to man united and nothing more..if he had moved to some other team he would have received proper welcome..also 95% percent of the people in the crowd booed just to lighten up the atmosphere and wont have had any deep hatred towards him. gooner4life
YOU called a player that is adored by every United fan on the forum a "c*nt"(which is clearly a flame bait) .. I thought you are a stupid for saying that. Dont see what the problem here is. Oh, so I call RVP a grade A c*nt(which he is) & that is a 'flame-bait' but people on this forum continuously keep on insinuating AW as a pedophile then that is not a flame-bait. What a pathetic argument. And if I shouldnt be offended with u calling me a twat(as per it's 2nd definition, though you smartly try to ignore the 1st one), then why do you get offended when I call Rvp a 'c*nt'?? Definition of a c*nt - " a person (usually but not necessarily a woman) who is thoroughly disliked" (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/c*nt) RVP is thoroughly disliked by Arsenal fanbase, so what's the problem in calling him a c*nt? Most of the players in your team are c*nts actually, in fact biggest of them all is your manager.

Keano
Like what? hmm, like carrying the whole team on his shoulders last few years, and playing good football whenever he was fit. I find it funny that Arsenal fans are asking what exactly RvP did at Arsenal in the last seven years. If he did nothing, why all this fuss about him leaving for a better club to win trophies.

Like aadi mentioned - There were no reasons for Rooney to move. Unlike Arsenal, United has good squad, which always competes for silverware every season. If anything Arsenal fans has to blame their management for selling RvP to United. They chose the best offer on the table.
Keano
Its leaving the club to join a rival one that bugs arsenal fans . Had he moved to juve, real etc they would be been much more peaceful From what I read in various websites last summer .. Juve came up with something, so did Shitty. United offered the best offer and Arsenal still could have decided not to sell to us and could've offloaded him to Juve or allowed him to leave as a free agent this summer. A similar situation like this happened few years back with Heinze. Liverpool bid for him when he was no longer a starter at United, so did Real. Fergie blocked the transfer of the player from United to Pool, even though Heinze wanted to move to Pool. lmgtfy Edited April 29, 2013 by Keano
