beb0p
Chelsea have rejected a Torres-Adebayor straight swop proposed by Spurs. https://twitter.com/tancredipalmeri/status/374581117996658688 This might just be the lowest point of Torres' career. Aj69
Here is more on the news that Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland has completed a season-long loan move to Premier League rivals Stoke City. Ireland has been a fringe player at Villa Park and Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes is hoping he will flourish again under Mark Hughes after working under him at Manchester City. "Arguably the most successful period of Stephen's career to date was when he played for Mark at Manchester City and we hope that he can rediscover that form." beb0p
Arsenal's signing of Ozil would not only break their own transfer record but also beat the record fees of both Manchester clubs. -twitter
LeonardoInventions
Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague 1m Dozens of clubs have asked for Mata but Chelsea don't want him to go. Liverpool, PSG and Valencia amongst them

NitroNeo
So with the case of Real Madrid or Barca financial fair play goes down the drain ? especially with them debt, chelsea spends e50 million on torres & the scene went boom

Nemo
Watch this, and tell me if you still feel the same way. No i am not going to watch that. Why ? because youtube is hardly The (capital T) authority on a player's class. I can find you videos with shaun wright phillips channeling his inner Messi. Hamsik and that other guy from Fiorentina have achieved squat in terms of trophies. Granted their respective teams are also a factor but point remains, both have not moved to a bigger club (even with in Sire A- milans and juve) and neither of them is a teenager, so it is not like people are adapting 'wait and watch'. They can bloom, sure but as of now Lewa and Mata are on a different level.
Nemo
So with the case of Real Madrid or Barca financial fair play goes down the drain ? especially with them debt, chelsea spends e50 million on torres & the scene went boom whaaaa... uefa charge the holy trinity of la liga, barca and real ? Get real son. Platini wont let that happen. As for chelsea, i am not sure but we bought Torres right before the FFP rules were said to start having a meaning (jan buy). Am not sure if FFP is actuality in practice. More over post Torres cfc has been relatively smart in the purchases, A lot of dead weight was removed, Certain big players with big salaries moved, so it kind of evened out. NitroNeo
FFP will be applied from next season onwards or the one after that, but my point was chelsea got so much negative publicity because we bought a player for E50m in the wake of FFP rumours or ground work & i was amazed how people ignored Real buying Ronaldo for E80m in 2009, kaka for E60m i guess in 2009 & how barca tried a desperate move to steal some thunder with a E65m move for Ibra, then real hogged the german duo after their world cup success in 2010 & bought 6-7 people in 2011 transfer market, though the 2011 spending wasn't much i guess
Nemo
cause Real has teh history and Barca plays football orchestrated from the Mount Olympus itself.
