Nemo Posted September 3, 2013 Report Share Posted September 3, 2013 http://poznaninmypants.com/2013/04/27/for-defending-sh*t-is-the-new-it/ people who think we are week defensivly need to check this out. we had 2 nd best defence even with off form vermaelenn,sagna and Wojciech Szczęsny...our midfileders do a fabulous job off protecting the back 4. this year sagna and Wojciech Szczęsny are in good form so i can see us being one of the best defensive teams this year. in last 16 games we have conceded only 9 goals and 3 of them where against aston villa in 1 game. haan haan, defense tumhara faad hai, direct milan of 70s ka product hai. Attack tumhara zabardast hai, Giroud is channeling his inner henry. Toh riddle me this, why the f**k dont you people finish so much as 2nd in any (non carling) cup/league ?? Nemo Posted September 3, 2013 Report Share Posted September 3, 2013 Eto'o is there for one season only i guess till chelsea find a suitable replacement for the strikers position, there aren't many quality strikers available & we can't afford to be as generous to other clubs like the two horses Really dont see any new up and coming world class forward that will be available in '14. the guys in early-mid 20s like Cavani, Neymar have made their move in this window. Falco will be old-er. Only person i see is Lewandowski, but he seems destined to go to Bavaria, or if not that, then Senor Perez is ever ready with his pocket full of monies and cup board full of (very ancient) history to lure him there. Maybe the WC will throw up a hitherto unknown face in limelight ? but tbh i'd be vary for going any one based on just one season, or worse.. one tournament. Most ppl dont understand that Mata is not match fit.. coz missing pre season and returning just 2 days before the first fixture doesnt make mata, a messi! & in any case the comment was more towards madrid than arsenal so dont know what got your heels over your head.. Gotta say, hes won me a bit over this.Its the kind of gesture I love to see, players who actually love and want to play for us (like RVP). Remember how everyone looked at Carrick, Evra and Vidic signings in 2006 and go wtf? I think this will be the same. I think he will give us the steel and drive we need from midfield, let Carrick and others do their thing and hopefully we will finally unleash Kagawa. I am just surprised with the negativity surrounding Fellaini's transfer is just ridiculous, considering he din even play for us even once.
