Ya I know that but it doesn't matter. I never wanted him to join Liverpool as it would have been unfair to Roma. I never saw any concrete interest, just twitter/mirror/daily fail 'rumours' Anyway to be fair to him it was reported he was devastated when he left stadio olimpico, to the point that he cried. Dunno how true the last bit is as it was also purported that his agent and roma didnt wanted to turn down a 30M offer. Allen is good buthe hasn't got the same confidence when in possession. His passing isnt best. A midfield of Gerrard Henderson Herrera coutinho would suit us. I remember he praised Roma and wished them luck but as far as I know, he never explicitly mentioned that he did not want to leave the club.
