Didn't Gerrard also wanted to desperately leave Liverpool for Chelsea some seasons back? You forced him to stay & then luckily for you guys, a club like Chelsea never came back for him. It's like forced loyalty.

Can you name one person in your team who you even persuaded to stay?

Thank you Luis Suarez.

And this. Despite the controversies and everything the guy always gave 200% for us on the pitch and his determination & dedication towards putting his absolute best efforts was peerless.

That being said though he will miss the most special thing about Anfield, the CL nights. Whenever he'd be available for Barca and we draw them, he'll see. And by that I don't mean a hostile welcome (given to that spanish pussy) before the usual suspects here get on their high horses.

Theo? His contract was ending in 4 months & he could have easily gone to some other club on a bosman but we 'persuaded' him to stay.

And why are you talking about persuading someone to stay? You didn't persuade Gerrard to stay, you forced him to stay. There is a big difference between both situations.

Evra 'has signed for Juventus'

The French full-back is widely expected to make the move to Turin for around €2m (£1.6m) with a two-year contract worth €3.5m (£2.8m) per season. According to Sky Sport Italia, Evra met with Juve lawyers on Saturday night in Los Angeles and signed the deal. Before making it official, he wishes to write an open letter to Manchester United fans, explaining his reasons for this exit after eight years at Old Trafford. As Evra is fresh from France’s World Cup campaign, he won’t join up with his new Bianconeri teammates until the end of the month.
