I thought after that "it's not scholes, it's carrick you know" chant I though carrick would've had a few assists, or was that chant last to last season ? Carrick is quality. Guess age caught up. Culture, history, recent performance of the club, champions league status, manager and many more play a factor. In united's case the last year was tough and hence players are a bit wary. I never said its not important. Players may join City because they would get a chance to play in champions league and be part of a team which has some good players etc. Not everyone joined City the day they were bought over by billionaires.
