Banz
A bit too late to see such banners now(maybe there have been other instances in the past 10 or so years) since damage is already done but still good effort from CPFC fans to highlight it.. Way too late now. Maybe from 2004-2009 it would have been right to protest that, but now Chelsea are financially sound and do not need anyone to pour any money from the outside. Now they can invest in players from their own revenues, without suffering any losses.

Well Chelsea haven't used this tactic till now but City has - of getting them sponsored on highly inflated terms with related parties(companies related to the parent company which owns City). So it's still not fair but better than before.

Banz
i think all the spending worked for city ... city has won the league twice is 3 years ... But they'll have a hard time getting all the money back. They've spent something like £ 0.6 - 0.7 billion. Winning the league is not suddenly going to raise their revenues. If they start spending wisely it would still take atleast a decade to break even.

They just have to reduce their losses within permissible limits. 45m over 3 years for the initial phase of FFP I think.. And they are on track of achieving it.. LeonardoInventions
LOL ... QPR what a mess ... Not only QPR to be frank, we were god awful all game, and extremely lucky to get away. Win is a win tho, but play like this against Madrid andddd Props to Cou and Raheem for the last two goals though, they were fantastic in the build up for both of em Edited October 19, 2014 by LeonardoInventions

I guess the next phase would be about profitability. If clubs are making a loss, then it's obviously not financial fairplay. For someone who made such a huge investment at one go, it is not practically possible to start making profits immediately.
