sachin...
Cahill and Coutinho in PFA team of the year is a joke Cahill was inconsistent and even dropped by Mourinho by at one point. Fabregas deserves to be there in place of Coutinho
sachin...
Won at Celta Vigo's home. What a match! End to end stuff. Chicharito Nice combination with james for the 2nd goal and amazing control for the 4th. Respect for Celta though, they play great football. We were playing with 6 full time defenders at the end Chicha game started 8 goals scored
SyLaRzV
PFA Player's Player of the Year: Eden Hazard Second was Kane, third David de Gea. So those who didn't have the brain to see it coming, well atleast they know now.

gooner4life
Second was Kane, third David de Gea. So those who didn't have the brain to see it coming, well atleast they know now. Ya, as if Coutinho coming in the PFA team of the year doesn't prove how good the people who decided this, are in their decision making. Sanchez should easily be in top 3 if not the best player in PL this season. His contribution has been tremendous. So why the f**k do you snigger at Liverpool and Rodgers? Hipocracy much? If chelsea/city/united fans mock you, then they are definitely wrong but Arsenal/Liverpool aren't that much different when it comes to financial prowess in the transfer market, in fact you have been outspending us for quite a while now. If you underperform wrt Arsenal, then your team/manager/players deserve to be mocked by us. Nothing wrong with that imo. More so, with the way your club behaved during the Suarez transfer saga. Trying to big yourself up as if you are as good as Arsenal right now. From your Owner to your manager, all of you behaved in an unprofessional way, with the way you called Arsenal out for just trying to sign one of your player. Arsenal never behaved that way with City or United or even Barca when they came for our players. Hopefully people in charge of your club have now realized that clubs don't become big by talking themselves up, they do it by actually performing. And in that sense we have been bigger than you guys for the last decade or 2, quite easily.. And also when your manager puts out statements like he did last season vs Spurs, on how they should be challenging for title after spending 100 odd million, you definitely deserve to be mocked lol

pale-illusionist
OK things got suddenly escalated. Also no one is ever happy with best player selection or toty. Every one thinks they chose the best. Better to leave it to experts.
gooner4life
There are no 'experts' in football except for top level football managers. Pundits, ex players, current players know about actual football as much as any fan, some are even worse. Down to basic IQ imo. Playing something well requires good physical attributes, which these players have but ability to actually understand team play, tactics & everything else is an entirely different thing. That's why you get opinions like Coutinho > Ozil from such good ex-players like Micheal Owen. Hence it's futile to pay heed to such footballing 'awards'. gooner4life
Hazard performed better than sanchez in big games That's bullshit.. Sanchez has done well in all games.. Scored vs City at their home.. Played wonderfully well vs United too.. Didn't perform vs Che yesterday but neither did Hazard.. Has equal amount of goals/assists to hazard, while not taking any pens.. Hazard being better than him is just a narrative peddled around by media or chelsea fans, which wouldn't stand any kind of serious scrutiny.. Hazard scored against arsenal, utd, liverpool . The reason Kane was selected ahead of aguero coz he score more match winning goals than aguero. Same goes with hazard, he had more impact than sanchez and chelsea winning league favors him more.

PFA Player of the Year is decided by 100 clubs, 92 League clubs and 8 WSL clubs, players from these clubs vote to pick the winner. That is more than enough to pick a fair winner. Now choosing the toty and the nominees for poty, PFA has never explained how they are chosen. So its irrelevant to compare poty winner and toty. So when De Gea ends up ahead of Sanchez then thats how it is, a lot of votes were cast so its not as if some 6 men panel picked it and Sanchez ended up fourth although i do believe Sanchez should have been third and it must have been a close fight for the third place. I mean seriously...is hate the only thing relevant in ur life, u post hate comments towards other clubs more than u praise ur own club. Now plz read what i quoted in bold, thats pretty much the same thing Jose Mourinho said when he made that 10 yr remark and u felt bad right, u didn't say to urself that u deserve to be mocked like that, likewise Liverpool fans will also feel bad when u mock them. This comment is on the same lines with what some half brain people in India say that they know cricket better than the players and the coaches. But u keep going I never said that I know football better than them, maybe you misunderstood me. I just said they don't know it better than anyone else, that there are no 'experts' apart from actual football managers. But people on this forum again keep on twisting what I say to suit their argument. hasn't happened for the 1st time, won't happen for the last time. Also 1 last thing.. Yes I do moan a lot on here about other clubs, that's a fair judgement & I don't disagree with it but what I definitely don't do is post personal comments regarding other forum members, even though I have been on the end of such stupid comments multiple times in the past. I only keep to the topic & talk about football & it's related things - moaning or not. So, no, hate is not the only thing which is relevant in my life. I just view football as a sport about great rivalries & that's why post about other clubs just for a bit of 'banter' & leg pulling. No harm done in that I suppose unlike your personal comments. Kane maybe should be above him but not Hazard. Chelsea will win the league but it's not just because of Hazard, it's a team game, so that shouldn't ideally really count. But either way he should atleast be in top 3.

Spoken like a true Gunner! In any case, I also do think Sanchez deserved to be in the top 3 at the least. Anyways, well done to Hazard he has been special. As for the Wenger legacy, yes its great he done really well no doubt, but its time to win titles and I mean the league and Champions league. Its been the same old with us over the last decade, we are just not solid or consistent enough through out. Wneger very well knew we needed a proper CDM, for quite a while now, he didnt bother, always being dellusional and saying the current squad is good enough. Arteta and Wilshere are NOT CDMs, you see the difference with Coq in the team, he has been absolutely sensational for the team playing the role precisely to perfection, if we had such a player form the start of the season don't you think the table might have looked a lot closer?\ The other thing with Wenger and his philosophy is that he is very stubborn, our record against the top 4 has been abysmal, if a system doesnt work time and again, try out different things, shut up shop, park the bus, do whatever is needed to get a CS and not let the opposition win. We continue to do the same thing over and over, not learning form mistakes is no excuse at the top level. It is sad because I started to watch football cause of Wenger's school of football, I hated football and couldn't understand why these matches went on weekends, and then on one of those boring weekends ( almost 15 years back), I was flipping through channels, I vividly recall as though it was yesterday, the game was Arsenal vs Chelsea, we were trailing 0-2 with 10 mins on the clock and then a mesmerizing passage of play by Arsenal interchanges between henry and sylvinho on the left made it 2-2, I was sold, football my new love, it been Arsenal since. Wenger hasn't evolved, yes he was cash strapped for a majority of the last decade, but that is no excuse to repeat mistakes, I strongly feel to win the league and be successful in the champions league, we need a change of philosophy, would ecstatic if Wenger can do it, but something tells me it is close to impossible.
