Chelsea lose, Liverpool lose (that game really went the way Sunderland wanted and there really was no hope of coming back) but the best match I watched over the weekend was the Blackburn game. Now, Liverpool have to try and stay in the top eight? What happened there? I refuse to believe that one person leaving caused this much of a problem for a team that was performing so well last season. I think that Aquilani is now wondering why he moved to the EPL because he hasn't even started playing yet and its looking bad. Spearing was total shite out there as well and should have helped in a lot of areas which he didn't. Rafa's little transfer policy has backfired on him massively. Liverpool had a very strong squad strength 2-3 years back. Right now they are among the worst in the EPL. Their first team is as good as anyone in Europe, but otherwise, they have nobody; Clearly witnessed by the injuries to Gerrard and Torres. Liverpool have been luckily, largely, injury free.
