They aren't as bad as everyone predicted they would be at the beginning of the season. Â I was asked what the best strike partnership I have ever seen was and I thought a lot but for the life of me I can't put a finger on one strike combination I really liked a lot. Any thoughts? They still havent paid their players AND a good part of transfer fee to other clubs. Already a major part of their BPL TV deal is directed to clubs from which they got the players this season. Lets have a look at the players they have (and most probably will) sold in the past 2 seasons  James GJ Distin Campbell Belhadj O'Neil Diarra Kaboul Krancjar Crouch Defoe  subs- Muntari, Sean Davis, Pedro Mendes, Matty Taylor, Benjani   that line up could have easily challenged for a CL spot.
