I hate it when managers develop a distaste to talented players and eventually their development is stunted. Babel, Bale, Dos Santos, Taraabt are examples that immediately hit you. Id take Babel with open arms at arsenal. I think he'll still turn out to be a good player. The main reason Id take him would be to have options. He'll have to be ready to warm the bench, though. Eduardo, Arshavin, Bendtner, Theo, RvP and Vela are higher up the pecking order than him. However, hes still a good option to have. Pretty sure Arsene wont buy him though. Mel81x Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 I think Liverpool should concentrate more on making the cut to stay alive next season in any event and at this stage, any help from any position is going to make that happen. There is just a general case of lack of harmony between the midfield and the front men. Last season, they were pushing well on the wings and making the magic happen. However, this season its more about Glen pushing up or Kuyt making dummy runs to the outside and pushing the ball in for a hope at some magic.
