Madhav Posted March 16, 2010 Report Share Posted March 16, 2010 inter earned their win... for the last half hour or so, chelsea had no fire at all in their game.. poorly losing possession, no closing down of inter midfield, no moment of brilliance from both drogba and anelka.. ballack and zhirkov had a terrible game.. i personally think ballack should not be considered for the next season... god chelsea missed essien... I mean 4 rolls on the floor after someone flicks your boot - Also the referees - [/sarcasm] Mourinho did exactly what he set out to do... Defense first... And also that was an excellent performance from Sneijder... I think he created all of Inter's chances... We looked like scoring only towards the last 10min. of the first half... And substitution of Joe Cole for Ballack was the biggest mistake that Ancelotti committed... Till then the match was even... After that nobody tackled in the midfield and Inter dominated for the next 10min... And also the fact that Joe Cole was crap didn't help... I do think Chelsea were unlucky to lose the game as they had 3 clear cut penalties in the 2 legs of this match. Great performance by Schneider. And yes the league is very open and we are in excellent position there... I think we are in very good position to win both since there is only one major priority right now... Arsenal and Man Utd. have to worry about the Champions League... I don't think we would have been able to challenge on both the fronts with the no. of injuries and the slightly ageing squad... Appointing him was a big mistake in the first place... Had he remained incharge I am sure that many players would have left in the summer... Ancelotti on the other hand is very experienced and has proven himself at the big stage... He deserves atleast 2-3 seasons at the helm...
