Man In The Box
I was just checking the net to find some reaction of Real Madrid players after their exit from UCL and came across this. Of course, a reported salary of close to £500,000 grand a week should soften the blow Wow, I found this on a page where reporters were telling us about CR's reactions and this is approximately the weekly salary of Cristiano Ronaldo. It means that he earns around 3.3 crores INR every week as his salary

Madhav
Even though I'm a ManU fan , I always loved watching Chelsea play when Jose was there specially when Robben came to the club. umm actually according to like EVERYONE, chelsea used to play the most boring football under mourinho... even to me as a chelsea fan, the games used to seem awfully slow.. and robben was just a cameo at chelsea! Mel81x
yeah Messi is back in form but the problem I have with Barca is either they get in the groove quick and if you can knock them off their stride while they are finding form in the first fifteen minutes then you have the game in your grasp. However, if you end up trying to do what was tried to them over the weekend then you'll find yourself at the receiving end of a wunder-trashing in the second half. Can Stuttgart really apply that much pressure on Barca and make the week even more exciting with another big name exiting the CL? I personally don't think so because Barca is a crunch team and when times get tough they seem to play a very different brand of quick-touch football. Anyone remember Chelsea last year? Mel81x
Was having a discussion with a colleague about the WC groups and its so odd but I think England have the easiest chances of pushing through even if they lose to the US (high possibility). The group to really watch IMO is the Brazil - Portugal - CIV group some nice matches coming our way from there.
KWC
England will clear the group stages and probably falter after that...
Stevie G
great job by the ref again to throw us out of the UCL again . 3 clear cut penalties over teh 2 legs and then drogs s sending off Platini must be proud anyways time to forget this and move on those were not clear not penalties , these are hardly given in Premier League and you expecting anything else. Accept the fact , Inter were a better side over the two legs , they kept the ball well and defended excellent when required. I still don't know whether Drogba's kick was intentional or not , but he sure was pestered badly by both the Inter Center Backs , and a reaction was bound to come from Drogba at some point in time. Well to be honest , Chelsea crack when they face big guns in Europe , whether it be Man United , Liverpool , Barcelona or Inter. Yup... A shove in the back of a player when he is 1 -1 with the GK is not a penalty (Even though the exact same thing happened when Belletti brought down Barry and he was sent off). And yeah... Now Rugby tackles are allowed inside the box I just hope that you are not the next referee we get in the Champions League Inter played good... But they definitely did not outplay us over the course of both the legs... They took their chances and we didn't take ours... the defining moment in the tie came when kalou was brought down in the first leg it was a red card and a penalty if that takes place chelsea win at the san siro and go through about the second leg penalties time and time again defenders get away with it so its no surprise.chelsea were unlucky but lets take nothing away from inter they were efficient in whatever they did and deserve to go through. about drogba it was a red card he knows exactly what he was doing although he was provoked but that does not mean u can stamp a player
