Fire Wolf
Why would it be between Man U and Chelsea? Lol. It's going to be Man U vs Portsmouth, probably a week or two before the League starts. Edited July 22, 2008 by Fire Wolf

Don Karnage
^ Well there might be more bad news on that front because ESPN-Star haven't got all the broadcast rights for India from FA. According to their press release they have rights to The FA Cup, England Internationals and The FA Community Shield on multimedia platforms for the 2008/9 - 2011/12 seasons for 20 regions in Asia (excluding India it seems). Now I'm not so sure about watching the FA cup on ESPN-Star.
Fire Wolf
^ That'd suck . I hope Zee Sports don't get the rights (like they have to the League Cup/CL matches) Are the CL Qualifiers going to be telecast on Ten Sports?

Somebody
registered and joined the GI soccer freaks league guys, read these rules before u select ur team. we dont want any confusion like the one we had in champions league fantasy football recently. 1. A manager may enter one Fantasy Premier League squad, multiple squads will be deleted. 2. You can select only up to 3 players from any one team 3. The total value of your initial squad must not exceed £100 million. The value of each player can be found here. 4. From your 15 player-squad you select 11 players to form your team each Gameweek. Only starting or automatically substituted players will earn points for your team. 5. You must nominate a member of your team to be captain. This player will score double the number of points he would usually have been awarded that Gameweek. 6. All transfers before the start of the season are made at no cost. For teams entering after the start of the season, no points will be deducted before their first deadline. 7. Any changes to your team (substitutions, transfers, captain changes, substitution priorities) must be made by the Gameweek deadline to take effect for that set of matches. Gameweek 1 16 Aug 11:30Gameweek 2 23 Aug 11:30 Gameweek 3 30 Aug 11:30 Gameweek 4 13 Sep 11:30 Gameweek 5 20 Sep 11:30 Gameweek 6 27 Sep 11:30 Gameweek 7 4 Oct 11:30 Gameweek 8 18 Oct 11:30 Gameweek 9 25 Oct 11:30 Gameweek 10 28 Oct 19:30 Gameweek 11 1 Nov 11:30 Gameweek 12 8 Nov 11:30 Gameweek 13 15 Nov 11:30 Gameweek 14 22 Nov 11:30 Gameweek 15 29 Nov 11:30 Gameweek 16 6 Dec 11:30 Gameweek 17 13 Dec 11:30 Gameweek 18 20 Dec 11:30 Gameweek 19 26 Dec 11:30 Gameweek 20 28 Dec 11:30 Gameweek 21 10 Jan 11:30 Gameweek 22 17 Jan 11:30 Gameweek 23 27 Jan 19:30 Gameweek 24 31 Jan 11:30 Gameweek 25 7 Feb 11:30 Gameweek 26 21 Feb 11:30 Gameweek 27 28 Feb 11:30 Gameweek 28 3 Mar 19:30 Gameweek 29 14 Mar 11:30 Gameweek 30 21 Mar 11:30 Gameweek 31 4 Apr 11:30 Gameweek 32 11 Apr 11:30 Gameweek 33 18 Apr 11:30 Gameweek 34 25 Apr 11:30 Gameweek 35 2 May 11:30 Gameweek 36 9 May 11:30 Gameweek 37 16 May 11:30 Gameweek 38 24 May 11:30 8. The three best performing players in each match will receive additional bonus points. Three points will be awarded to the best player, two to the second best and a single point to the third. 9. Any transfer point deductions in the Gameweek before a phase starts won't be deducted from the phase score. For example, any transfers made in Gameweek 6 (preparing for Gameweek 7) won't be deducted from the October score.
