reddevilgautam
If he bled club loyalty, he'd still be at Everton. He's been an Everton supporter since childhood. So I wouldn't be so surprised to see him leave if the offer is good. Plus, he and Christiano Ronaldo seem to have an unhealthy infatuation for each other, so you never know.peace rooney is flourishing at United and loves the importance he is finally getting at United after Ronaldo left - there is no chance he is going to the same club as Ronaldo's, and risk being overshadowed again...This is the season he has enjoyed the most at United...Absolutely no chance of Rooney going to Real (unless he is forced to by Glazers ) Edited April 17, 2010 by reddevilgautam
aakarshd
If Chelsea win today against Spurs the tittle is legit theirs. They have Wigan and Stoke left, so they can even lose to Liverpool and win the tittle by 1 point. This is assuming that United will win today. I hope so. But I don't think so. reddevilgautam
Two hundred and fifty thousand pounds PER WEEK. One million pounds per month. That's what Real is offering him as wages. If that means sharing the spotlight, I don't think he'll mind.peace there is already talks about a new United contract for Rooney before the World Cup which shall give him around 200,000 pounds a week in the final years of his contract...He never shared the spotlight at United, it was all Ronaldo... Fergie playing wide left and Ronaldo in the centre was sort of a slap in his face - and he would remember that before teaming up with Ronaldo again...It not a coincidence that Rooney has scored his highest number of goals in the very next season Ronaldo leaves...He is close to being voted the Best Footballer in the planet (although Messi will get it) - but he could have that chance again next season - but only at United, not at Real. Its not going to happen Edited April 17, 2010 by reddevilgautam
supersim
naah I dont think united will give him 200,000 pounds a week . If he s staying at united it definitely wont be for the money , if he wants the money He ll go to real .

He may stay back for many reasons; Getting to stay in england, large fan following, importance he is getting, Sure shot to play every game (provided he is fit) etc. He is not gonna leave in my opinion. ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
personally i dont see him leaving united,if he has to leave at some point,it would some other club in england, not just rooney any english player wont be leaving(top 4),people who think about salary, rooney gets more revenue from advts ,i dont think he would get same amount of money or fame in spain.few exception like beckham who is global superstar, real madrid think they can attract asian fans from getting our players, thing is they love united not the player
