Grimmjow
Fletcher and Valencia there ahead of Song and Malouda is total joke. Ridiculously biased. Just like the team some 3 years ago when there were 8 Man Utd players in 11. Total joke. Valencia deserves it. fletcher vs song....debatable. Keano
Seriously with all the money that Chelsea have spent signing big name players and managers since last two seasons, the least they an do is win the title and keep Roman happy. Chelsea havent spent much in the last two seasons. Maybe i said this after seeing the ridiculous strategies of Madrid and Shitty. Waaiit .. am i supporting the Chavs, JOY .. prove me wrong please. Valencia deserves it. fletcher vs song....debatable. IMO, Fletcher deserves it when he and Song are the only nominations left. Valencia is good, but Malouda is better over the course of season.(especially after Christmas)
Grimmjow
valencia's done it for a whole season. been a long time since i saw an out and out winger being so effective.....
Grimmjow
Chelsea havent spent much in the last two seasons. Maybe i said this after seeing the ridiculous strategies of Madrid and Shitty. but the point is theyve built a great squad. they have the best backups in alex, sturridge, kalou, mikel, zhirkov, ivanovic etc. you cant win the EPL without a great squad - if united lose id go so far to say that the few games that rooney's been out of will have cost them the title Edited April 26, 2010 by Grimmjow

Kalou, Alex, Zhirkov and Ivanovic are players who deserve a spot in the first 11. without a good paycheck, its really tough satisfying all the quality players who wont feature regularly in first 11. dharmin
chelsea did not spend in the last two seasons cos roman abramovich had heavy losses in his business....with their ageing squad i wont be surprised if they end up spending big this summer..... Nemo
Premier League Team of the Year: Joe Hart (Man City, Birmingham on loan), Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Thomas Vermaelen (Arsenal), Richard Dunne (Aston Villa), Patrice Evra (Man Utd) Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), James Milner (Aston Villa), Darren Fletcher (Man Utd), Antonio Valencia (Man Utd), Wayne Rooney (Man Utd), Didier Drogba (Chelsea). frank lampard, 20 goals around 15 assists in the PL and no mention. why am i not surprised stupid FA. i fail to understand why lampard's importance is never recognized.. just because he is so super consistent that his numbers dont surprise anyone anymore ?? anyway, knowing the man lampard is, he doesnt give any importance to anything over a title for his team, my team. chelsea !! agree with the rest of the line up. the defense in particular looks unbeatable. Malouda should have been ahead of Valencia, easily. Valencia is easily one of the most overrated players this season. Hes good, but nothing like what has been spoken of him. Fletcher choice is just plain ridiculous. Ahead of Song, Lampard and Palacios. :\
Grimmjow
overrated? hes underrated. remember how everyone was laughing at a nobody replacing ronaldo till about half of the season? half the goals rooneys scored have probably involved valencia directly. could be a case of another average player shining at united, but thats besides the point - he's had a great season. thats what i say about him - one trick pony, but very effective. Nemo
Seriously with all the money that Chelsea have spent signing big name players and managers since last two seasons, the least they an do is win the title and keep Roman happy. sir ji mathematics players IN for chelsea in the last 2 years. Deco 8 million Zhirkov 17-18 million Sturridge 5 million Ivanovic 8-9 million (brought in grant's season but made debut under scholari IIRC, i cud be wrong here) total- under 40 million. Players IN for Man utd- Berbatov 31 million Valencia 16 million Obertan 3 million total- around 50 million. and that is when i am including ivanovic who was brought before the 2 year mark. Yes i agree that man utd with ronaldo's loss have been considerably weakned but people should really stop using that $$$ excuse for chelsea now. We did next to no spending in the past 2 years. with their ageing squad i wont be surprised if they end up spending big this summer..... agreed. We need fresh young legs and the russian wallet has been silent for a good 2-3 years now Don carlo has acknowledged the fact and will improve things come summer window.. Absolute bollocks that hes underrated. The no.of chances he wastes and when hes up against good defence, is when he struggles like crazy. Hes not fast on a counter attack and unless hes on the right hand side of the pitch, hes absolutely clueless what to do. But yes, he is effective, but hes nothing more than just a good, slightly better than decent player. Hes nowhere close to what Malouda has been, this season. Its farcical he got picked ahead of a guy who has been spear-heading Chelsea throughout the season.
Grimmjow
youd actually be quite surprised shek as to how many united fans were criticizing ferguson for his (at that time) seemingly bizarre transfer activity.
shekdown
youd actually be quite surprised shek as to how many united fans were criticizing ferguson for his (at that time) seemingly bizarre transfer activity. Im not, mate. Cause I still feel its a poor transfer. I could be wrong, but I have a gut feeling its yet another SAF transfer where he performs well for a season and half and will disappear post that. Like Hargreaves, Carrick, Berbatov or Anderson. And hes just too direct. He'll be covered pretty easily next season. Its players like Nani who can cause real damage and trouble.
Nemo
I love how 40mil is next to nothing. After this, it really is :/ :\ heck i wud like to see city finish at 4th. yes it wud screw up our potential transfer targets as well but with that kind of money and CL spot offer.. big movements can take place Edited April 26, 2010 by Nemo
