That team is a gold mine for anyone needing spares to replace broken components in their own teams lol Haha. Very True. I am still wondering when they are going to put these players on sale... Any mid table team will be able to strengthen their squad with these players. Robinho's situation is a bit tricky. He costed the club shitloads of money and now he has become a pricy liability. Mel81x Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 nevermind the fact that the club doesn't want to pay these players but their overall "Shot-Up" value now has to be reconsidered and if they want to keep playing football they will have to go cheaper to other clubs. Its all the end of a vicious cycle that high spending clubs have bought on themselves. I say ditch the ones that your paying and aren't useful with the contract terms and get cheaper substitutes or push the youth of the system up. He was the best defender to have played for us since i started watching football. Better than terry, gallas. On his day he was a treat to watch. Have fun in la liga and please get injured if real are to face us in UCL. good move for all the 3 parties. Riccy was no where near his imperious best for us last time, i certainly would not have had him playing before either alex or ivanovic; he will how ever relish the la liga. Yes he could have been an awesome backup to alex-ivanovic but did he want to be that ? that is one thing we are just blindly assuming. What if he wanted first team action ? we in turn can go and get someone ...like bruno alves (depending on how much faith carlo has in Bruma). To all the jittery souls- chill more than 2 weeks of transfer season remains, Don carlo will suit up and take care of the vacancies. What really saddens me is the petty amount we sold him. I dont care if riccy is not as great as he once was, dont care if he is 30+.. its real madrid for chrissake.. dont tell me we werent able to squeeze monies from them. Even portsmouth made 20 mill by selling diarra. sh*t, i was expecting somehting like 10 million pounds or more.
