its Bolton and I wouldn't be worried. When things like this happen on a Saturday you usually have a goal-fest on Sunday ... If only Bent hadn't got that Pen chance things might have been better but that is neither here nor there. I'll take one point over zero but I still think we should have won today's game. I was looking at the match-cast and we had a lot of opportunities in the box in the second half and apparently a header that went astray at the end of the second half.

Well I had a feeling getting Hodgson in was a good thing for the club. What do you think? Results havent been the best but that was perhaps expected this season, wasn't it?

And what the fk is the matter with Tottenham. Brilliant team but so damn inconsistent...

I hope no one above me has to eat their words tomorrow. But ... that said, I am glad because I now have a superstar in my Fantasy Football team and his last name is Emerton! what a good choice :) all hope is not lost anymore.

To Schneider: Hodgson needs to stop talking, then he needs to stop experimenting and finally he needs to do two things.

1. Stop playing Mereiles on the F'ing wing, the man is a midfiled operator not a winger

2. Send Johnson on a worldwide tour with the Spice Girls and he might learn a little thing or two about what position he has to play

3. [i was thinking] - Take Fernando to a corner, tell him look mate we are in need of a striker and you need to get your act together because of David is showing more potential in front of the goal its hurting your image and making me look like a muppet

 Nicely put. Repped! :D

Good thing Kuyt is back. That guy was phenomenal for liverpool last season. Also you are absolutely correct about Johnson. That RB position needs to be sorted out.

Man what a f**ckin' weekend for United... Its like dope is handed right into their hands... And I dont think they'll screw it up, atleast this weekend...

Seeing Chelsea falter today and witnessing the rise of Berbatov, has restored some hope for me this season. All we need is for Rooney to get some confidence back. :fear:

I have a feeling Hodgeson is gonna get fired before Christmas , he is just not charismatic enough to be a manager of a big team , don't know what the *bleep* is wrong with Torres , Its always meant to be form is temporary and class is permanent , but looks like class has flown to Mars in Torres 's case , he bloody is not able to even gather a quick pass at his feet well enough.

sad at the loss but we lost it fair and square. chances were few at both ends but city took theirs when it mattered.

the match was 50-50 and it would have mattered if lamps (or even benayoun) was there. without them we had no creativity up front and drogba had to resprt to do the provider role taking him away from the centeral main striker role. domino effect of sorts.

i can take solace that away at city will be a tough fixture for all teams and that arsenal have already lost. hope man u follows suit next.

Poor performance by Liverpool IMO. This was a game we really needed to win to get things started.

Anyway, as far as the Arsenal's match is concerned, I think that backheel which led to the 2nd goal was brilliant! And yeah, Almunia was pretty poor. One expects better from a goalkeeper who is playing for Arsenal.
