I haven't been on FPL in weeks and on Thursday I went in and just tried to re-arrange the team and said i'll leave Bale in there something good will come of it and voila! @Avishkar: The long ball game totally murdered us and they pressured and pressed much harder than we were in the first half. Somewhere towards the middle of the second half we looked like we were making headway till they started pressing again and by then it was too late. I don't know why SG even tried to float that ball up because there was so much real-estate between him and the next defender that he could have threaded water and looked for a more concrete pass but that just put the nail in the coffin. Roy was totally cheesed off and u just know that he gave it to the players later on. Lucas was in top form [foul-wise] yesterday and at the end, he could have avoided his own special brand of muppetry but now he's red-carded and people still think hes a good player ... rubbish. I was in a heated argument with this random guy on facebook who wasnt ready to admit that MAcheda did not use his wrong foot for the goal (And, that united were lucky yest )... Apparently, Fifa/PES 10/11 lists his preferred foot as left... and all the FM/CM lists him as right-footed.. and even I've seen him as a right-footed striker! EDIT- I think out of all the places, only IVG seems appropriate place for football discussions to me.. I mean people are literally idiots out there.. be it anywhere... Arsenal fans - idiots, Chelsea fans - even bigger idiots, United fans - full of themselves, Liverpool fans - Well, they are becoming a minority now.. which is very sad if yu know what I mean.. team not winning, f**k it we'll support some other! Cheers to active people on this thread ivg indeed is a very very good forum. earlier i was very active at orkut communities. total idiots there (save for a few) and had a mentality like those. in fact in my initial ivg days had a (stupid) heated argument with one man utd fan .. i dont remember the name, apologies for that mate, if you are reading this. as months went by, i have become more rational and have learned to respect all teams, mainly due to this ivg forum. so much so that i rarely go to the old orkut comm, including the chelsea one as the most of the times the level of posts there disgust, embarrass and sometimes stupefy me. love this forum Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
