Somebody Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 Drogba faces police and FA probes Didier Drogba throws a coin back into the away fans' end at Stamford Bridge Didier Drogba is facing police and FA investigations after throwing a coin into the crowd during Chelsea's Carling Cup fourth round defeat to Burnley. The Chelsea striker apologised for his actions which followed his 27th-minute goal but could still be in trouble. In a statement on Chelsea's website, Drogba said: "I tried to celebrate the goal and I received some things at me. "The big mistake I did was to throw it back so if someone was hurt I just want to apologise for it." Burnley will investigate coin incident - Coyle There were no reports of any spectators being injured. However, the Metropolitan Police confirmed on Thursday that it is looking into the incident. Yeah , cause you could make the ball dip that much that late to confuse the sh*t out of him. Amazing performance , the kids did brilliantly too. Evans was rock solid and looked like He`s been a Prem player for ages. Welbeck and Gibson did well too. Manucho was average , and at 25 doubt he`s going to get much better. Tevez played well too , hate it when Fergie gives him the shaft and favours Berba n Rooney. Arsenal , what can i say ? Kids doing it better than the 'seniors' . The problem is inconsistency , something you need character n experience in your team to rectify. Arsenal can maybe win a trophy this season , they`ll raise themselves for the big ones. Not denying that the keeper should have done better for both free kicks and possibly even Carrick`s goal. What I`m saying is the way Ronaldo takes em makes it very very difficult for the keeper to deal with it normally. He doesnt score many but look at the amount of times even Brilliant keepers fist shots that come straight at them. Apparently ( and this is not some schoolboy ravings ). He concentrates the power on that little hole in the ball they use to fill air. And that causes the ball to dip like a bitch. If only he learns not to hit it straight at the keeper which he does 99.99% of the time , he`ll be one of the most deadly fk takers ever. Cause when the keeper dives he`ll have no way to know at which height the ball will reach him and when he is horizontal in the air, theres only so much his reflexes can help him.
