shekdown
The problem with that is you will keep going on and on , till u win the argument. Same thing happened last time as well when Nikhil & Rad were in a discussion with you, u can't talk with other people in a proper manner , abusing and insulting is the way you try to stamp authority. No wonder u have had a spat with almost everyone who visits this thread on IVG. Just listen to every interview that Arsene Wenger gives whenever he's asked the question when is that silverware coming , you will know ur answer. I might go on and on, but its totally relevant to the case. If I have a good argument put against me, I have no shame in accepting the other person is right, but when a Man Utd self righteously says Arsenal have to win silverware, no excuses; I just find it ridiculous. Like I said before, the frustration is not simply the lack of silverware, its the lack of desire Arsene shows to bring it. There are some obvious mistakes that should be corrected, yet it goes uncorrected every season. You see, thats the problem. If those are corrected, we would have had silverware already, by now. Whos Nikhil and Rad? What did I do to them? I dont even remember who are the people because I dont go around TRYING to have an argument pointlessly, but I get annoyed when I see some baseless comments that make no sense whatsoever. Admittedly I am very harsh when I get annoyed, I will put my hands up there and apologise and Im working on it, Ive cut it down from what it used to be, but again, spat? Like who? People like you who perceive a debate as an argument? What we are doing now is not an argument, its a bloody debate. The moment someones comment is contested here, its like "Woah, hes coming at me; he has a problem with me, I should bite back". That needs to change. As for Wenger asked about the Silverware, its a moot point. Its obvious that we need silverware to silence a lot of people, but the real reason for frustration is that the mistakes need to be fixed before silverware was achieved. I said it at the start of the season and I even said it sometime back, when someone suggested Arsenal to win the league. Im fairly grounded when it comes to my opinions, so is Arsene, but the difference is; Arsene has the ability to change what needs to be changed, I dont - nor do other Arsenal fans. Hes not doing it, he should. I wont be surprised at all if people start calling for his head if we dont win the League Cup and dont win anything by the end of this season. lazycod3r
I'm an Arsenal fan but seriously after watching the ManUnited game I feel like this is just another year where we will not win anything ... same old story same old mistakes, we are so good on some days and then so disappointing the next. Chamakh looks like he needs a rest and Van Persie doesn't look ready to be our lone striker(still not 100% fit), I think our midfield has let us down in most of the matches which used to be our strongest point. There is hardly any coordination, too many miss-passes and for a possession based team, thats just criminal. Song was so good last year as a Defensive Midfielder but Wenger wants him to move forward and this has contributed to more pressure on our rather fragile defense... Wilshere makes some nice intelligent passes but has been rather wasteful for the last few matches, Denilson has been poor after so many chances, Rosicky nowhere near whats needed from a playmaker. I think the only positives so far from the season have been Nasri and Chesney.
Mel81x
What is up with Roy and his wonder-planning? Last night, we looked abysmal and the score-line reflects that. He is resting key players for the Premiership game [why?] and then goes on to make excuses about why he omitted players. I think we have a great team now and all we need is a little direction with some tactical planning and we aren't getting it from Roy. I won't be surprised if he also makes a woah-he-got-fired? exit from Anfield soon. I was looking up the Tweets from ThisIsAnfield and the KenD streams and there is nothing but hate for this guy. Even Rafa never got this kind of hair-dryer treatment from the fans.
Madhav
Man city thinking about 100mill pound Iniesta swoop.. Ancelotti, according to an un-named player, has had enough at Stamford Bridge and Real Madrid are pondering on him as Mourinho ain't settling in... If that comes true, Pep Guardiola would be Chelsea's new Target... RUMOURS RUMOURS RUMOURS!!!!
Mel81x
I don't think Iniesta would leave Barca even with such an outrageous sum because his style of football wouldn't work in the PL. As for Ancelotti going to Real? Where would Jose go if that happened?

Mel81x
I don't think ull have anything to worry about. Ancelotti wasn't playing with a full deck of cards and now he is. Things will shape up for you'll soon now that everyone is back and all you'll need is a little insurance in the form of an Israeli and a returning African that will settle you'll up. When you'll look back it towards the end of the season, I think it will be beneficial for the manager to say this is where I need to focus on with the players who got a chance to play through the season while the key players were out. Its a win-win situation for you'll but thats just my opinion.

I missed the Tot game but heard that Chelsea atleast played good.. Its just consistency which keeps a team going... And for that consistency, our experienced players need to step-up back again... Im hoping for a Lampard miracle.. Manu and Arsenal games are gonna be a pinnacle point of time in our season aspirations... fingers crossed X
Mel81x
ill stray away from speculation on future matches because I expected fireworks last weekend but the games that truly amaze me every week are ones that involve Bolton and Blackpool. I am always left awe-struck and how much grit Bolton have this season.
shekdown
From what Ive heard its absolute shambles at the Bridge, Im really surprised the sacking hasnt come yet. Maybe Ancellotti and Roman have patched up and restarted again. Or maybe they just want to try and ride the season out not having to sack YET another manager. SchneideR
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2010/12/15/tottenham-star-gareth-bale-tempted-by-40m-manchester-united-move/ Here we dont have cash to spend on "seemingly possible, relatively low cost" signings and there are rumours of such gigantic proportions... But I gotta hand it to tottenham. When it comes to aggressively signing high potential players at knocked down prices, I dont think any team has been better than Tottenham in the past few seasons... Coming back to the Chelsea tie, I hope they dont kickstart their season (again) against us this sunday... Lampard is back and I sincerely hope he is still recuperating from his layoff.
