In the first season Henry as well as Beckham were pretty much average in La liga and on the other hand players from La liga have adjusted well to BPL. Van Der Vaart is having a great time in Spurs adjusted pretty easily. While he struggled in Real Madrid. Silva even playing with a new team has adjusted well. So it mainly depends how you adjust to your team and the team system. Villa deserved it because of him Spain reached the final and he has done well for Barca and was always a very good striker at Valencia. He did score 28 goals and had 10 assist for Valencia. And has 14 goals and 7 asssist for Barcelona at madhav To all The points you have bolded 1 - Sniejder was average in the league . Thats personally my opinion on how i saw him played in Serie A. barely got 4 goals He was good in The UCl but Maicon , Cambiaasso and Milito were better then him. With these players injurjed Inter and Maicon bad form Inter Struggled Badly in the league this season. 2 - Please Read the whole statement and understand what i meant. With So Many Creative players and having great strikers like Villa and Torres. Spain overall Did Struggle to Score in most of the matches. Yes Villa did score 5 goals but i was saying as a whole team they grinded out most of the result if you compare this with their Euro Performance and Could have scored more. 3 - As far Barcelona will struggle without messi more then inter without sniejder. That a personal opinion if you disagree with it fine ! But thats how i see it in the LAST SEASON. 4- Sniejder was average in the WC. Well I guess i was wrong here a bit here but still i feel interms of scoring goaks in the results he was great for the dutch but if you see his performance he was rather average well thats what i feel. One league likes to spend more time creating wholesome units and defensive lines that are rock-solid while the other league operates on the notion that if you don't attack all the time you'll just wither away. I find it funny that they haven't put some BPL players in there but then again it was the year where the BPL really didn't shine internationally and who knows this might be that year for them. Plus, its a list from a group of people who get paid a lot of money to make the sport look good hehe. There has to be some bias in there. Puyol and Iker can be debateble. Since Reina had a better season then iker. Even though im a huge iker fan he had an average season in real madrid. Yu say, "Sniejder was average in the league" & "Barcelona will struggle without messi more than inter without sniejder"... Don't yu find a lil' contradiction to the actual facts here? (Also, apart from his 4 goals, I think yu found WS pretty normall in UCL too... all in all, yu found WS average right?) I'll tell how... Inter won the treble last year... 2 league trophies & one European... Basically, they dominated European football... and WS was at the heart of Inter's midfield... Its not just about scoring goals... even with his lower goal tally in the league, almost every goal scoring attack was lead/created by WS.. Half of Milito's & Eto's goals were courtesy WS... If Sneijder was not at Inter, it surely would have been a different season for them.. Messi... he is a footballer from another planet... with him in the side, barca is almost next to invincible.. tearing apart RM 5-0 is no joke.. But even without Messi, have yu seen the quality available at Barca's disposal?? Its terrifying... Both theoretically as well as practically.. & to top that, Yaya was there too last season... Messi gets little injuries from time to time and very evidently Barca copes up without him... Can yu understand where I am going with all this?? What I am trying to say is that Inter would not have tasted such achievements without Sneijder's performances, whereas Barca still would have been a big strike force without Messi.. So again, I respect yur personal opinions... I just brought this up because those two points in the beginning felt contradictory to reality.. I'm kinda happy now that our game against Blackpool got postponed. Under Hodgson's regime I have no idea what could have happened! But I have faith in Daglish and am expecting a good result tonight. But yeah, I have been disappointed with Hodsgon although I have to admit that he got the job when the team was coming back from a very bad season.
