Can anyone stop us ?? BTW Pool were awesome today , really enjoyed watching the match , Wolves in 2nd half made the match superb, Torres getting back to his old best. I was plastered by the end of the liverpool match so not much else mattered at that point. I also liked how the commentator said "death by a 1000 passes" when Kuyt ran past the defensive line. KK is going to have a hard decision to make against Fulham. Mereiles showed everyone how dangerous he is when he gets incisive yesterday. I saw flashes of the N.Korea game that Portugal played at the WC yesterday when he started running into the box past defenders. He's a golden catch and I think that Torres has found a link-man in his gameplay. Sadly, with the return of Gerrard to the fold, KK will have to find a way to utilize him in either a more upfront role or somewhere on the sides where he has operated at maximum efficiency while he was at Porto and couldn't operate in the central part of the pitch. I won't even take away a good win here because the match in March and the meet up in a few weeks with a returning-to-form Chelsea are probably more important. We were playing fluid football and at one point we were playing one-touch-pass football too ... i was reminded of the late eighties once again. Fantastic weekend. Yeah, loved it when they said that it was a 'death by a 1000 passes' . A stat later showed that a total of 30 passes were exchanged between Liverpool players before Torres netted the ball in . I think Gerrard should go on the right when he returns and replace Kuyt. I really love Kuyt a lot and he is one of my favourite players but I really feel he should be in the bench right now. Just imagine how awesome our attack will be with Maxi on the left, Gerrard on the right, Torres up front and Meireles just behind him ! I feel Poulsen and Lucas should stay as holding midfielders since it helps in neutralising the counters.
