Real Madrid have sacked Bernd Schuster and appointed Juande Ramos as manager. Would be interesting if he carries on his Tottenham form

Schuster would have stayed but for his stupid comment about impossiblity of real winning at nou camp!

Ramos is a awesome manager....i just hope he keeps his mouth shut and does his job properly!Dun forget that he made spurs win dere major trophy in nine years!

Hez really gud!

He was essentially carrying over Jol's team and even after that CC win the league form was pathetic. That of course doesn't discount the fact that he's a great manager. But still I'd give him a season before he's fired

Madrid were stupid to fire Capello.

I give him till the end of season, then he gets fired. Unfortunately thats the way things are run at Madrid, they demand instant results or else..

Juande Ramos knows Spanish football inside out........unlike epl!

I guess he wont take too much time to settle!Hez a brilliant manager and ALL DA BEST to him :)

Its not that schuster has been sacked coz of lack of recent results.....he would hav stated but for his post sevilla match comments!

Even if ramos fails to get results in da starting,he'll be given more time and space!!

So thats not the way we run the things at bernebeau.........Claderon is smart enough to know dat if he puts the condition of instant results and den fires the manager failing to do so,we,madridistas will call for his head!

As i said, bernd's case is diff....dat comment was da final nail which he hammered himself!

Den why didnt Martin Jol win anything and got sacked :eyebrow2: ?

One of the very few things i regret about decisions at real is Fabio Capello's sacking!

Was a bad decision....... Curse u ramon!

Well it speaks volumes that a manager can be sacked for making comments in the media. Even though I agree those comments were highly controversial.

And no I dont agree with you, the environment in Spanish football and Madrid in particular is very different from the other leagues, fans themselves demand immediate results and the board is no better.

Just count the number of managers Madrid has had in the last 5-7 years. Barca is still better in that regard.

Dude,u r wrong dere!

We fans hav always asked for attractive football....and obviously results too but not in a hypothetical way!

In dat 5-7 yrs u taking bout,i beg u to plz throw 4 yrs out of the window as dat was da PEREZ era!The most unsuccessful era coz of one old f**k-F.Perez!!

We have been doing much better w/o question dan the catalans as we have neva had inter-players fight!!Plus our performance in last 2 yrs have been way ahead of dem!

Only thing i regret in da new post-Perez/Galacticos era is sacking of Capello!

Nways, now dat ramos is here back home....i know he must be feeling much better!

ALL DA BEST JUANDE :)

First of all,Plz mind ur language!"Pathetic"......talk in a sporty manner plz!

2ndly,read my previous post....Capello was a mistake!

3rd,Bernd was neva written off.......he would have stayed but for his statement!

Dude, realise the meaning of that statement, lucky he was not killed by madridistas for such a statement......El Clasico is one of the biggest and most intense rivalry match........its means so much to us as well as catalans!

No matter how bad is our form,u cant say such a disgusting statement like bernd did!

Martin Jol took them quite close with two 5th place finishes (one nearly 4th place finish), the team that won the CC was essentially his team with the exception of a couple of players who played the final. IMO they got lucky in the CC semi where they played the Arsenal reserves. It was their day, but anyways Ramos just couldn't be a good manager at Tottenham.

whoa boss... ok pathetic was extreme, but madrid's attitude to its managers is pretty, umm.. disappointing. its like they believe winning la liga, CL is a birth right.

as for schuster, talks of his being sacked were there before the sevilla game/ el classico comment.

I echo DevilsOwn's sentiments, the way things are run at Madrid is not a very positive environment for any new manager.

All i hope is dat he does well and take us to new highs!

And our playas recover well n soon from their injuries!

Hala Madrid! :wOOtjumpy:
