I guess he proved his vendetta about his involvement/ambition into ChelseaFC... Funding the Torres deal out of his own pockets is like putting it subtlety, "I'm in the game!"...

I was judging his interest in Chelsea, and he proved himself well! :coolspeak:

UK market completely crazy...

overpaying for Torres but at least you know what you get. if he honors the contract he'll be with Chelsea until 31ish, and continuing thru his prime. I dont trust his loyalty at all after saying how much he loved Atleti, and now LFC, but he will bang in the goals. 45 mil tho...hmm. i would have preferred a 30 mil Aguero maybe...

25 mil for a defender with no CL experience. hmm.

70 mil or so on two players...the only thing i like is that Nando is no gamble. we know he gets injury prone, but we also know even by playing a lone striker with no service, he banged in 20 or more each year pretty much. so im sure he will do the same in London, and he wants the CL badly.

as for LFC- sorry guys. 35-40 mil for a 21 yr old kid who played in the Championship last year is ridiculous no matter how you put it.

CR7, Ibra, Kaka, Zidane, Figo, Crespo...then Carroll? as most expensive transfers... what the *bleep*, thats f**king nuts. add Torres to the list, but even he has won something, as have all those other players domestically and most internationally BEFORE demanding that kind of money.

I wouldnt mind Torres to Chelsea at all .. FIFA 12 is gonna be awesome. Avishkar knows why :P

what now ?? if you mean Luiz then

A. the deal is for 21 million gbp and

B. Benfica played in the CL this season, finished 3rd in the group and are now in europa contentions

Still - i wouldnt want United to pay that much for any defender. Torres would be an awesome addition the squad provided he stays fit

Chris Smalling cost united £10m when he was a no-body....

On the other hand, Daivid Luiz is one of the hottest prospect as a defender... So, his ~£21 million price isn't that much hefty...
