No one was really holding the ball there it was more touch and move and rotate. You had Super Sheva [GBHS], a distributor and role marker in Kaka and a A-Class poacher in Inzaghi. While with Chelsea the role system is more fulcrum based with a player offering a dividing break into the box for either a CAM or a SS or a CF. So when you look at the distribution play its very very different from a central attack style arc. That said, now you've got a holder, a runner and a non-incisive CAM that wants to push the ball wide to afford runners in diagonals around the box with a RB [A.Cole] making darts to offer that little extra bit of sauce at the top of the box. Ancelotti has a hard job ahead of him and I can't say that anyone will be happy if they lose a game now. btw did anyone hear of this so-called undisclosed transfer of van bommel to AC? Well true we do lack a classic ball sprayer, Anelka looked very good y'day but it remains to be seen if he will be effecting consistently. Maybe when the jew returns he can offer more options in the hole.
