Joey Barton should have been red-carded way before the red card on Diaby, the tackle on Asharvin and the recklessness on the pass from Diaby warranted two cards and curtains out for him. His presence on the field along with Nolan shut down what would have been a class act by Arsenal 2. Phil gifted Newcastle that penalty because as far as I could see there was absolutely no challenge there and the player got sandwiched between two defenders. What was supposed to happen? Was he going to turn in the air and score? LOL Â But as it stands, best game of the season and way to show the critics that your not washed up and can still net goals even when you are four goals down. Of course the red card helped but I think Wenger will have a talking to give Diaby and its good that hes benched now. Talking to Barton would have been sufficient. Oh well.
