Good that the two games are completely different... Burnout Paradise had fantastic online mp...They supported the game very well by releasing sensible dlc's which was worth the price...So this game is nbound to have to online features... Blur had an option in which you can challenge ur friends depending on their stats. As soon as you open autolog a thing called speedwall appears...thr'll be ranking for each event... So if your friend has better time than yours in any race , he'll be in top position and you'll be above...So u can click on him n select challenge option.. If u beat him you also have an option of sending him a msg about it in the game ...... Next time when ur friend logs in he'll get that msg that he's been beaten.. achilles Posted November 15, 2010 Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 I think the msg is displayed on the speed wall which is common for common friends..a lot like the Facebook wall Edit : if you've played Joe Danger, it's kinda similar and would make you wanna jump right back into the race to beat a faster time or a higher score. Also, I don't get the "games are different" argument. There are so many people who would want to play different games but can't coz of time, money etc. So if two or three popular games are releasing close to each other, one of them is bound to suffer. The hype that GT5 is carrying might just kill this. And it'll be a shame coz this game would be best enjoyed if a lot of friends are playing it. Since GT5 was delayed lot of people would have pre ordered Hot Pursuit thinking GT 5 would release next year.. NFS has good section of fans...So dont think the game will do bad in terms of sales.. Infact in Hot pursuit no matter which event you play the Autolog tracks your stats unlike in blur where you decide which event should count. Autolog on the other hand will surely increase your play time.... refer to the disclaimer in the OP. @ others Will surely be active on the Autolog if i find a way to connect to PSN.
