MarketTantrik
Not likely given the lethargy shown by Bose. But you can always source it from abroad. And I'm sure Chaz has the contacts to do so.
vinitwins
Get the 60 gb from the gray market for under 20k. The games are region free. And if u get the Japanese region all the pirated dvd movies will work pirated dvds are generally region free (or the region restrictions have been removed by the ripping software), so they would work just as well on any PS3! Chaztin
Hey guys, I accidently ^^( not really ) went to the most Corrupted shop of Baroda, who keeps all kinds of gaming consoles and their games. I asked about the prices for different PS3s, heres his reply PS3 80 gb for 22.5k, 60 gb for 21.5, 40 gb for 21k and 20 for 20k. I came to knw through Hotpixel brother that 80 gb consoles shows least and almost no problems, so even though I wanted to wait for any offer or MGS console, I feel like going for this one... hws it?? lastAvenger
see the 60 gig model does the ps2 games because its got the actual hardware so all ps2 games work flawlessly but with 80 gig model this is being done through software.
Chaztin
I got it now!! though 60 gig model is said to hv most probs then other 3 models!!
Hot-Drake-Pixel
I got it now!! though 60 gig model is said to hv most probs then other 3 models!! I have a 60gb model. But I have hardly played PS2 games on it. I did buy couple of PS2 titles and played them for few hours but that about it. Once started playing PS3 games, I never touched them again. Backward compatibility is an overkill, atleast for me. If I were to buy PS3 again, I will go for 40 gb and upgrade the hard disk to 500gb or some. lastAvenger
He has not picked the console yet i think lol. By that he meant that he understood abt the whole ps2 compatibility

Hot-Drake-Pixel
@ HotPiXel: Care to enlighten me on this bowling game on your wishlist? Sure thing. Check the urls below. http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/highvel...ling/index.html http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/17/high-vel...s-way-onto-ps3/ http://www.gametrailers.com/game/4857.html?id=4857 http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Games/Hi...elocity_Bowling Key feature: Use the SIXAXIS wireless controller to simulate a genuine bowling action. Play music from own music library. Compatible with future HOME release. IMO, this is fun filled family entertainer and can help get the whole family take advantage of PS3 in the comfort of your living room. Now your parents/GFs/wife won't curse you for being hooked up to PS3 for long hours. Coz you can get them hooked onto it as well. Guess what, it is darn cheap. Cheaper than couple of games in any standard bowling club.

It looks like a lot of fun and using the Sixaxis as a proxy for the bowling ball is excellent.
