Mean

You prefer UC or Gears style cover system ? ...

Stop comparing ...TR is much much better than UC in every department...F***k UC and that Idiot Drake...

:boxing: :boxing:

You say stop comparing and then say TR is much better than UC, in the same sentence. And then want to f**k Drake. Must be smoking some nice sh*t there.

Are you smoking or what ? Tomb raider hardly has any good gun fights or combat , Uncharted is better in combat mechanism i.e way better.Obvisouly TR has better cinmatic gameplay experience when compared to UC.

Can anyone of you clear my doubt?

Ps3trophies.com says that there is a difficulty based trophy in the game and I need to complete the game on TR difficulty. Whereas www.ps3trophies.org says that there are no difficulty based trophies and I can start on easy difficulty. :ko:

Someone please help me. :/

Guys on psn under the game description it says one time license fee for download up to 2 console systems that are associated with the purchasing account..no more than 1 activated ps3 system within a 24 hr period..content may not be used by any other account.you must sign in to psn each time you start the game.

Does it mean i can play the game only from my purchasing account and i need to be online to play :fear:

Wanted to post impressions yesterday itself but was too busy actually playing it.

Let me start off by saying that I was never a Tomb Raider fan to begin with but wow this same has seriously impressed me so far. It looks amazing @1080p even on my aging PC (with some of the heavy effects turned off) and gives rock solid performance. The game seriously looks like next gen material. The art design is fantastic and the weather effects look very convincing.

I'm loving the atmosphere in the game. There are parts which are almost horror game-like. That one section early in the game where you get axe was seriously creepy especially with the music and the lighting in that area. I also like the openness of the environment. I'm a sucker for metroidvania stuff and this is right up my alley.

Although predictable, the story is also pretty good so far. I'm actually feeling invested in the whole thing. Lara is your typical errand boy err... girl, doing everything while others sit on their asses but that's okay. That's just how video games are. I can see where the story is headed eventually. Lara's change into a hardened fighter is a bit jarring but it didn't bother me as much as it bothers most critics. I imagine if one was in a life threatening situation like that killing wouldn't not be as difficult.

Coming to the combat, once again I'm quite impressed. It flows very well. Stealth feels very natural and is always an option (except for scripted fights). I love, love the cover system to bits. It's much better than the Gears snap-to-cover style and feels quite fluid. Lara animates beautifully during combat or out of it.

Lastly I must say I'm really liking the new Ms. Croft. Not only is she very pretty but she's also a real person unlike her previous incarnations.

Overall I can't find any real flaws in the game (except maybe for the supporting cast and some of the dialog). It's quite deserving of all the high scores. It's the very definition of a AAA title. Polished, responsive and extremely fun to play.

started the game . With everything max out except tress fx it give me 45-60 fps which is fine for me . I wish i could have the option for tresfx because lara hair looks so cool with it ! Anyway good job of porting the game for pc . I am highly impressed !

Edit - can run tressfx by putting ssao to normal .

@Tyler, exactly what I felt. The atmosphere is fantastic. Dont forget the sound quality. When Lara steps on different environments, different sound comes. Pretty good and detailed. And Lara has become my favorite gaming character now. Excellently written, voiced and animated.
