cud not find a pic that had a serious face and black hair, the eyes do look same but if you see her movies in certain expressions its quite similar. anyhoo, not bad for resemblance

 

okay....yes i could understand that her expressions may be similar too....

She looks too young. Just when she was starting to actually age & turn into a woman who looks in her 30s, they bring her back to her teens...bleh !

Anyways the last thing I want is them changing her to an American.

Just hope this doesn't ends up like the last semi open world TR game, the one which had a rather big vision, one which didn't have Lara's dual pistols, the one where she was weak.....yes I'm talking about Angel of Darkness.

 

I mean I donno...I liked how the last game played, a few refinements to the camera/ collision detection & it could have been perfect. Throw in a well laid out plot/mystery along with half a dozen of characters and we are pretty much set to make a great Tomb Raider game. Infact I'll be glad if they keep the gameplay mechanics from Underworld (with refinements ofcourse).

- It's not only a reboot of the franchise but a reboot of the entire brand. As a result there will be no "real" Lara model this time.

- They're doing performance capturing with this game

- There are brutal deaths in the game this time. One is described as a deranged man stabbing Lara in the chest and then closing her eyes after she's dead. Another includes a boulder falling on her leg to trap her before another falls and crushes her head.

- CD won't talk specifics on weapons but concept art shows a bow, shotgun and pistol

- The lock on targeting system is gone and it now has a free aim system. CD says that it can compete with any of their competitors.

- "I think that the major difference between this game and the old is the concept of smoke and mirrors," begins Darrell Gallagher, the studio head at Crystal Dynamics. "There was an illusion of freedom because of streaming and loading that would pop you out in a different location, but this is absolutely real.
