Heaven Angel
The game’s length, which will reportedly clock in at a respectable 12-15 hours. 12 to 15 + depending on your play style. Whether or not Lara can swim. Hint: she can’t. Or at least she can, potentially, but she’s unable to do so in the game. Confusing, I know. At least this means there won’t be water levels. Lara can swim, but just not in this game. Finally, the subject of health was touched upon. Let’s just say no medkits will be found within the game. Regenerative. No need for items. Bummer
dante77
Holy sh*t Regeneration of health 12 to 15 hours (means 10 hours at most) no water levels boy, this is looking VERY bad.

Aftrunner
12-15 hours in dev speak is 7-8 hours in normal time. Which sounds about right for what looked like a heavily scripted game. And regenerative health. And no swimming. Sigh.

Choron ka raja
I am not sure, how it was in old TR games, can't remember much. But regenerative health in a game which has survival as the base story is a cheap shot. WTF is point of survival if you know you are gonna get back to full health within seconds. All I know is I will be spending 7-10 hours on this to know the story, and be done with it. Or probably youtube is the way to go. More I visit this thread, more I feel compelled not to waste my money on this. Digital mammaries are not worth 2500bucks. @Mohit Time to dig up your old box of TR games, then? Or did you wanted to see Lara go skinny dipping?
Aftrunner
What bizarre is that I could swear I remember the devs saying the game was well over 25+ hours in length early in development. Did it go through a drastic redesign and they had to cut down all the exploration in favor of set pieces? Still length isnt that big of a deal. TRU was 7-8 hours and was a fantastic game. More problematic is that the gameplay looks so scripted. And the regenerative health and cutting back on classic TR elements is just sad.
dante77
IIRC TRU was about 9-10 hours. It was/is the BEST TR game after TR games on PSone. Mostly because it had puzzles, lots pf puzzles and exploring and very less action. The way a TR game shoild be. But retarded internet reviewers like IGN didn't like the game and said its not as good as TR:L which is the WORST TR game ever created! Being said this one looks like a strong contender to beat TR:L

Also one cannot swim for ever. No body stranded on an island with no sense of direction or distance would be fool enough to try to swim back to main land. It is not GTA, where you touch water and die. Even battlefield 3 allows that level of swimming. So, I doubt that is what meant here.

Also, I don't recall which one it was, but I distinctly remember going into water always threw you back at hospital. Wait, just so we are on same page, do you consider going knee deep as swimming? Cuz, I remember even RDR allowed you to go couple foot in the water.

Aftrunner
How does GTA end up in this equation? What does that have to do with anything? O.o Its a Tomb Raider game. Pretty much all of them have had water sections. Those have always been a big deal. It was one of the more amazing parts of the first few games. For crying out loud the entire first level of Tomb Raider Underworld takes place underwater. And its amazing. Cutting that from Tomb Raider is like cutting Lava Dungeon from Zelda or Ice levels from Mario. Game's plot is about Lara being stranded on an island, and you expect her to swim back to mainland? How can you even expect her to swim, when plot itself stops her from doing that? Or did you wanted to see Lara go skinny dipping? Unbelievable post. I dont know whats more crazy. That you inferred from my post that I expected her to swim back to the mainland. Or the fact that you actually think that not being able to swim is what keeps people stranded on deserted Islands. Is swimming thousands of miles in the sea a normal occurrence to you? Even considering the usual quality of your posts this is still crazy amounts of stupidity.
