shekdown
My friend keep insisting I should watch Kurosawa but I somehow havent settled down to watching it. Im not much of a pre 70s, 60s movie watcher because I end up finding way too many flaws that are immaterial, but irritate me. I remember seeing the camera in the shot in several 60s movies, random people on the set walking in the background and things like that. Not to mention the lines. Im usually not one to pick, but somehow that puts me off.
Mel81x
Foreign Languages - Oldboy Difficult to choose between Oldboy and Cita De Deus, but I prefer Oldboy. One reason why I picked it? Its mind-friggin-blowing. I swear if I had eaten or something I would have thrown up. I cant say more without revealing anything, but what a bloody brilliant movie. That right there is Restekpa +1 List in no particular order. I think i've left out some other good movies but 5 is too little lol American Beauty - The first person narrative at the top and the scene when Kevin Spacey talks to his wife about not telling him what to do ever is one of my favorite scenes of all time Star Wars V : The Empire Strikes Back - I will shamelessly say that when I was younger I ran around my living room making light sabre sounds lol. This is for pure nostalgia. Terminator 2 : Judgement Day - Has a place in my DVD/BluRay shelf any day of the week. I don't think I'll ever tire of the action this movie has to offer and the casting call of Arnold vs Robert is sex on steroids As Good As It Gets - Jack Nicholson makes this movie work and the rest of them are just along for the ride Pulp Fiction/The Dark Knight - I couldn't make my mind up Foreign Films Amores Perros and Oldboy
