God of war 3 is the weakest game in the Trilogy. the incredible level designs from the first to games all but disappeared and instead we got magical portals that transported us from one level to another. The titans themselves were not as they were initially planned and really they used all but two of them and you get to fight neither. also, when the initial reveal came, it was said that the titans would have their own individual behaviors were the game designers wont pre-determine how the titans would behave while climbing olympus, this was no where to be found. TBH the lack of titans was the biggest disappointment i had with GOW 3 The boss fights themselves are no where as good as the ones in the previous two. the middle section was complete filler (labyrinth & giant enemy spider. lol) and the story takes a complete U turn as it gets near the end. Dont get me wrong, Gow 3 is still a fantastic game but is nowhere good as the previous two games, esp part 2. So you did not like that the titans weren't that greatly used that's why it is negative of god of war 3.really?whatever there was it was mind blowing.And u didn't like the boss fights,all boss fights were epic man.you are the first person I am hearing that did not like the boss fights of god of war.surprising for me it is. And in the intro scene you are shown the whole Olympus and throughout the game you travel in Olympus right from bottom to top.that's impeccable level design.the labyrinth though a little overdone is connected fantastically in the Olmypus. Took some time to get into it, but once i got the hang of the game, it was difficult to really put it down. Some of the levels were mind boggling ! Zeus fight was also much better in GoW2, not to mention other bosses like sisters of fate, colossus of Rhodes, that horse dude, Kraken, Perseus etc completely trumps whatever bosses GoW3 had, which is shame because there was so much potential with Gods and Titans making their final appearance. I'm just giving my opinion. Aha..all I meant was you shouldn't judge on people if they do like the same Assassins Creed or if they don't like the latest UC. It's not sad, really. Ne0 Posted December 21, 2011 Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 Haven't you played 1 & 2?? & talking about batman....I liked AA more then AC The main missions in AC were not as good as AA I am some how really amazed as to how everyone has these nice words for AC It wasn't that good on the main story & gameplay missions I played GOW 1, didn't play 2. Anyway, I wasn't super hyped for GOW 3 unlike many others here, probably thats one of the reason I enjoyed the game. Although at times, it was really frustrating (like that box puzzles i mentioned earlier), but overall good game. The amount of gore was staggering. I think it even trumped NG games in that regard. I still think its the best technical achievement on PS3 that even trumps ND and PD, the lighting, the motion blur, the use of AA, cutscenes that borderline CG, and the whole thing runs at 40-50fps all the time without screen tearing (unlike UC). Note the name of the treasure set required and then see the treasures page to find out where you can get it. Normally, skins are unlocked through co-op games.
