And I would like to move on to UC3, but before I throw down for the online pass, I wanna know if its worth the upgrade. There was a fair chunk of negativity surrounding the MP when the game came out, has it been "fixed"? In short, is it better than UC2? Also, man I love 3D but it really f**ks up the graphics something bad. But when you start the MP for the first time, opponents(generally parties of 3/4/5) will toy with you(like in any FPS/TPS - but more worse in UC3). Or something like that, I dont know how exactly 3D works. But I do know that the end result really f**ks over games. I think Motostorm is the only game that doesnt end up a total jagged, blurry mess. So far I have tried R3, Ico, Jak, UC3, KZ3 and Motorstorm. From the current gen crop, only Motostorm looks acceptable. Even UC3 looks average. SOTC and ICO though look absolutely amazing. I think they are the only 3D games that dont take a dive in visual quality when you turn the 3D on. And both games have REALLY great 3D effects too. I honestly cant go back to 2D in either one of them. Final tally from best 3D to worst - Ico/SOTC - Motostorm/UC3 - KZ3 - R3 - Jak. Jak isnt the worst visually, its just that most of the times you cant even tell if its 3D or 2D. Not much visual depth there. Anyway, back on topic. Got the MP pass. I like the changes so far. On a new “The Drop” post added to the PlayStation Blog earlier today,Sony mentioned that the game’s multiplayer aspects will be free. Thelisting has since been removed. Along with patch 1.17, Naughty Dog did recently tease “something new” for Uncharted 3′s multiplayer. Might this new free-to-play approach be related?
