Bhpian Bali
Okay went through videos on skyrim. I realise that I am doing it wrong. I am not playing it the way I am supposed to. I am level 8 and not advancing to level 10. I got few skill points and I don't know where tu use them. I got high scores on Restoration, One handed battle, Destruction, Lock Picking, Heavy Armor. Have randomly entered caves and learnt few dragon shouts even when i didnt activate their quests. Have battled a Dragur Overlord or something as well but not getting good armor or a sword. I only have a basic heavy armor and a blades sword. Not using sheild like oblivion but using fire thoroughly.. please suggest things.. Edited February 13, 2012 by Bhpian Bali

The reason why i am not advancing and keeping it on hold is because I have really tried to go and find good armor and weapons and as i advance even my enemies get stronger and with what I have I am unable to cope already. i guess ill start blacksmithing and keep points on hold for heavy armor. also which is the best destruction skill and where to find it? how to increase your carrying load? It seems like a new enemy will lock on ur level when u encounter him the first time, and he'll go down easily as you level up later on. So don't worry on that front. And nord is a good race, by default you get frost resistance, which works greatly in your favor against all the dragon frost attacks. To increase your load capacity, upgrade more points in stamina....and the best destruction skill IMO is sparks and flames. Sparks have the advantage of absorbing magika, so if you cast it on mages, they will be stunned for a while or their spell casting is broken ! Flames are very strong against powerful enemies like trolls and other creatures like ice-wraiths / sabre cats etc. And if you don't have archery skills, firebolts can be quite useful for ranged attacks. When you level up, if you select stamina, you will increase your carrying capacity by 5.In the pickpocket tree thr is a perk that increase your carrying capacity by 100,but this perk does require 50 skill in Pickpocket. best option is to sell or store everything that u dont use(books, letters, notes, jewelry, old armor, old weapons etc etc) Edited February 13, 2012 by kaka_messi

Ne0
WTF is up with all the dwarven metal craps, weighs like 25 per metal bar And I forged an exquisite dwarven armor and I see that it has lower rating than my exquisite wolf steel armor but weighs almost double (45 vs 20) .... same with dwarven sword....so this is not exactly an upgrade over steel weapons/armor ? Time to upgrade to the orcish weapons/armor I guess ! Edited February 20, 2012 by Ne0

Ne0
^^ I know that genius , but I've to level up....my smithing is at 50. Daedric needs like 90 and ebony around 80 IIRC.
MoonStruckHorrors
Just maxed out Blocking on my new level 30 orc. After that, forget those puny spells, two-handed weapons, bows.. everything. I can send opponents(MULTIPLE OPPONENTS) flying with using negligible stamina with the final block perk. The final blocking perk - sprinting with shield raised knocks down everyone! Try blocking peeps, seriously.
Bhpian Bali
man this games gets me so confused.. I am high on Heavy Armor(like who isnt), One Handed is also very high and also making headway in conjuration and restoration. where earlier was making a good progress in destruction spells i have completely stopped using them in favor of conjuration. id love that stuff to kill trolls in single fireball hit. though the cool stuff is i revive dragurs to kill for me and yeah level 23 for me in less than 40 hours and yeah i am already using ebony armor which i found while doing a quest when i was at level 14 so I dont know whether investing in forging is a good idea. also also i sided with azura and have the white version of the star. what to do? i cannot seem to trap a single soul in it :| Edited February 20, 2012 by Bhpian Bali
Ne0
^^ yeah fireballs are awesome, too bad i lack conjuration skills....i used a scroll to summon the fireballs and both the trolls went down in one hit !

Bhpian Bali
the main quest got over even before it started for me the arch mage quest was more demanding than the main quest not challenging at all..
Sherry Jose
Currently i am on level 11 and i was outside Winterhold at the time when a Dragon striked me. I dodged its fire and was trying to shout it out just outside the castle. It got very difficult for me to take control over it, so just ran into the Castle and the Dragon chased me as well. Then, it was very easy to defeat it with some arrows inside the castle. I didn't understand the concept here, how was that so easy for me to defeat it inside the Castle and when i wsa outside, it was rocking all over me
