My GPU under extreme load never crossed 72 in summer. And I have stopped checking temps now once summer is gone. If you are getting 80-85, work on cooling of your cabinet. Which GPU are you using? Ram is the main culprit here..Skyrim is a ram heavy game..and 360 ram is much better than PS3.......Skyrim needs lot of ram to keep track of every single object in the world....More the content, more ram you need .. Just sell your Skyrim copy..No use..You will never get Dawnguard or any other DLC..Next time don't buy any Bethesda game for PS3.... Remove your misconceptions.Dont know where you heard that.Infact logically its powerful than the later. 2.Games are mostly made for 360 first and then ported to other platforms. 3.This is a result of very bad porting like some other games there. get the 360 version if you can. Big Boss Posted September 11, 2012 Report Share Posted September 11, 2012 Their engine is coded in such a way that it doesn't work well with PS3's architecture. They faced exactly same issues with Fallout 3 and Fallout NV. The issues wont be fixed until they rewrite a significant part of their engine or create a new one. The sad thing is that the devs knew that this was going to happen, and still they released game for PS3. This is completely unethical and shameful.
