RenegadeRocks Posted December 6, 2012 Report Share Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) <br />i like to collect discs so alays go for retail only...Don't get any feel of a collection from digital purchase<br /> go for far cry 3 if you are an action gamer. skyrim s also awesome but you have to fill a lot of gaps with your own imagination, and it is more about choosing an action than actually action gaming, because after all it's an rpg to the core. skyrim is mesmerizing and overwhelming at first (if you can overlook the cardboard characters ) and draws u in immediately, but compared to far cry 3 action is clunky and awkward. but then you dont play skyrim for the action. it's not about which game costs how much it's about what you want to play: an action game or an rpg. To me far cry is an excellent combination of an action game and an rpg, where combat hasn't been sidelined to accommodate other gameplay mechanics.
