Karooo
Gramps get the PC version. It's undoubtedly superior and use an xbawx controller too. Edited November 12, 2011 by Karooo
sublimestuff
Controls are very weird for a PC game. Will take some getting used to. And the game is hammering my ATI 5750 (having to spend some time to tweak settings), i think it runs better on Nvidia, at least until the new drivers for ATI come out (hopefully). Tyler
How does the two handed combat work in this, Different buttons for blocking/attacking? You can controls your right and left hands with LMB/RMB (RT/LT) and you can pretty much dual wield anything - melee weapons, different spells, same spells, weapons + spell, weapon + shield etc. Weapons and spell combo is what I'm using. Works a lot like Bioshock 2. There's also a quick access key (Q) using which you can pause the game and quickly access favorite spells/weapons/items. Extremely handy. Arkham Inmate
Apparently the X360 version includes a better map...larger and better quality paper than the PS3 one. Will confirm when I pick up the game today.
Superfrag
For the people playing it on the PC, I would suggest using a Xbox 360 controller. The only thing you sacrifice is aim, but the gameplay is much more fluid. Although you do miss out on some shortcuts and actions.

DevilsOwn
Anyone facing download speed issues with Steam? I am getting abysmal sub 50kBps. (whereas i normally get >500 kBps). And this low speed is only for Steam d/l; rest all is working perfectly. (this way god know when the Skyrim will be ready to play)

Karooo
I don't get the point of giant guides. I got one for Uncharted 3 but it was such a PITA. I prefer iPad + Wiki tbh.

WhiteWolf
Skyrim Is Game Of The Year – Metacritic he Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is the best game of 2011, and in the top 10 games of all time according to Metacritic. For the few that don’t know, Metacritic gathers the reviews by critics and the public and generates an average based on those scores. Today we can see that the highly anticipated Skyrim, which was released in the UK today, is thought of as currently the best game of 2011, based on user reviews. The massive role-playing game has beaten Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Fifa 12 and Portal 2 to the title. Call of Duty: MW3 was released a few days back, and has not been particularly well viewed on the website, scoring an amazingly low user score of 3.1, however it is thought that ‘fanboys’ of other fps may have sabotaged this score. The score of Skyrim will change a lot over the weekend, and will be very interesting to keep an eye on. The game currently sits as the 7th best PC game of all time, just behind Bioshock. 2011 has already been a fantastic year for gaming, and it looks like it is about to go out with a bang. http://www.geekshavelanded.com/2011/11/skyrim-is-game-of-the-year-metacritic/
