Aftrunner
That "get attacked by dragons randomly" bit sounds like a pain in the a*s. Last thing good WRPGs need is sh*t ideas from sh*t JRPGs. Feeling a little better about enemy scaling though.
WhiteWolf
aah Game will take 200 hours of my life just like Oblivion Will finish all Action shooters like UC3,ME 3 and Gears 3 asap and then...play Skyrim for 3-4 months non-stop
Bulovski
See there are two outcomes to trolling. People respond or don't. There's a third outcome also. When you troll in threads of games which mods are interested in, or about games they like, you get banhammer. Kapish?

THE DIRECTOR
Behind the Scenes of Skyrim video on gameinformer site OMG........ Skyrim map!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
praveer
^Doesn't really tells you about the scale....its just a big picture of the map. From what I can guess (judging by the mountains and comparing them to previous games) the map is quite small. I mean this was Oblivion's map (16 square miles): And we all know that it wasn't really very huge, this on the other hand (Daggerfall) was holyshitomgwtfbbq Edited January 10, 2011 by praveer

SchizoidFreud
Saw the scans the game looks GORGEOUS. - HUD free first person view - incredible draw distance, foliage, water and snow effects - six or seven different enviroments: rugged mountains, tundra, glaciers etc - mammuths and saber-toothed cats - Five massive cities Level scaling back BASTIDS Tears of Happiness. sup bro?
It looks roughly the same size as Morrowind which itself was smaller than Cyrodil but could easily take more time traversing through and didn't look the same all throughout, including the cities. Joy
Five massive cities with no leading screens , This and Witcher 2 are marking a new trend in Open world RPG's. Edited January 11, 2011 by Joy
Bulovski
But Daggerfall was more randomly generated. Oblivion and Morrowind had tons of detail added to the countryside.
praveer
yea that's true but the terrain was randomly generated, the map and areas remained same everytime, in any case it was good.
maxus
i hope they have the levelling part better this time not like the oblivion when at level 20 or more the enemy becomes god like. There has to be some serious changes in the walking style..like men and women should have different strides and character animation. moreover if there is some combo action then it'll be great. i played oblivion for months i hope they make it better this tme. Think the game will be from norse lore and backdrop.
Tyler
Yeah I hope third-person view looks good and is actually playable. I like my RPGs with a behind-the-back third-person view. Playing Divinity II right now and enjoying every moment of it!

Bulovski
Now now we always knew his taste in RPGs was well ahem. It's not like it's a revelation. Still haven't forgiven him for Demon's Souls
