Tyler
Ran into a nasty gamebreaking glitch last night which prevented me from continuing with the Companions questline. Had to use a console command to get past. Â Â Â So I went back to Jorrvaskar after retrieving the witch's heads and found the old guy Kodlak dead. Fine but the AI of the rest of the companions refused to co-operate. They simply stood there saying the same dialog over and over again. There was no way to progress with the rest of the quest line. So I googled it and found that it was a known problem. Turns out I had to clear out a location for the next quest which I had already done in another quest. The overlap caused the Companion quest line to break. The solution was to use a console command to switch to the next Companions quest. I also had to manually "break" the AI out of the loop by getting them to attack me. Â Some of the NPCs are still bugged after this. For example Aela (the Hunter chick) says "Those two won't be a problem anymore" every time I try to talk to her. While many of them are still stuck in the "mourning" loop in Jorrvaskar. The old guy's body is still inside the building (even after the funeral). But at least I was able to progress to the next quest... which AFAIK is the last Companions quest. Â Â Â Anyway, now I'm a little scared. Who knows when a game breaking glitch like this might show up. Even Spin experienced a few of these - which he was able to get past. WhiteWolf
There's a major bug in the game which stops main quest progression   BUG: in the quest "The Cornered Rat" you'll find Esbern behind a closed door. When you interact with the door it will start a conversation with Esbern where he is ultimately suppose to open the door and let you in. The problem is that his dialog is bugged and his voice doesnt play causing his text to scroll past very quickly, then after the dialog, he doesn't open the door.   Solution -  Spoiler -  http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=157   or i can give you a separate download link..if you want Edited November 17, 2011 by .Zodak. Tyler
I hate it when glitches ruin my carefully planned RPG questing. I'm one of those people who can't sleep if I "fail" a quest in RPGs... and it's even worse when it happens because of a glitch. After I finish the last Companions quest I don't think I can go near Jorrvaskar after what happened last night. Can't bear looking at that those glitched NPCs. So immersion breaking :\

You don't have console commands on the PS3/X360 so you'd be pretty much stuck at that point.
Big Boss
I killed Cave Bear in 3 iron arrows. Are dragons even easier to kill?
