So by your logic, everyone will get very high speeds. I have stated my recurring experience with PSN. You dont get to fling names around just because your experience differs from mine. Get used to it, you're not always 100% correct no one is. You dont stop jumping to conclusions, do you? PSN download speeds are slow. There is no doubt about that. This is especially noticeable when downloading system updates / game updates or large sized demos. Online gaming is fine. All my devices (4 PCs, 1 X360, 1 PS3, 1 Wii) share the same connection. The slow downloads are only noticeable on PSN. If you can come up for air for a few moments and take some time to browse around various troubleshooting threads including those on GI, you will see similar complaints from many members. This is not to say that XBL is perfect, but the consistency of speeds on XBL is much, much better than on PSN. My connection doesnt have any download caps, so it gets utilised to the maximum nearly every single day, placing me a very good position to judge the download performances of my devices. So when I have made a statement that PSN is slow, I have ample empirical experience to back this up. What your experience is with PSN is of no concern to me and it certainly doesnt give you the right to counter or pass judgement on my statements or my internet connection. We may not all be blessed with a blazing fast internet connection like you have, but at least give me the benefit of doubt as regards my understanding of the technicalities behind the way the setup I have at my place of residence works for me. As for getting emo, I wasn't the one who made the first salvo of countering statements. But you just make it sound like hate speech against PSN, which isnt justified. Also, you may be in a good position to judge the download performances, but so am i. My connection doesnt have a download cap either. Yet, XBL gives me crappy dl speeds. also, Im using 512 MTNL. Go figure why PSN runs so well and XBL doesnt. Doobz said "MTNL sucks for XBL" but hes just stupid. --------- Oh i do have a handle on the concept of "going emo" pretty well. I get the same speeds on my ps3 as that on my PC using ethernet. Wireless you generally get 70-80% strength only. N yea, dunno whats the problem with game updates.
