MarketTantrik
You mean, even after u end your session those locations will continue to remain in some sort of cache? That's cool, but wont it be eating a lot of HDD space? It shouldn't be more than 3-4 GB in the full version.

BuffMonkey
Nope, not seeing it yet.And the download of the setup file (80MB) was really slow. Took more than an hour, but the patch (77 MB) was super quick. So PSN download speeds are still shaky. I must admit HOME looks really intriguing, but you will need a fast connection to derive maximum enjoyment because every location is being downloaded separately as and when you enter it, and the location data file are big. (relative to Indian connection speeds). Its understandable that you dont get it lol also, personally, i dont think im going to use Home that often, but good to know you guys like it. Somebody
guys.... how long do u think it'll take to load a new area on a 256kbps connection ?? i mean on average
MarketTantrik
guys.... how long do u think it'll take to load a new area on a 256kbps connection ?? i mean on average It looks like each new location should have between 30 - 50 MB of data to be downloaded. So here's the math. Assuming 100% bandwidth availability (which never happens) 256 Kilobits per sec = 32 KiloBytes per sec = 1.9 MB per minute = 20-30 minutes per new location. ARSC
i think its better to get a 512 connection which i am on right now... i dont think any provider gives a speed of 2-3 MB unlimited and if they do the price is above Rs-2500/- month. BuffMonkey
for me ... 1mb / 4sec and since its 30-50, lets just take it at 40. 160 sec lol -- 2min 40 sec
