So that I can use Bluetooth Stereo headphones with the PS3. yes, athek uses a stereo headset with PS3. But the output will be mono anyways. So i cant listen to music / mp3s, etc using a stereo headset ? as far as I know, bluetooth is for chatting and online gaming only. but yes, it would be nice to have that feature. hardware is capable, may be they should release a FW update or something to enable this. A2DP to be precise is Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. You won't get output outta games/videos/music, but you get a 2 channel output in chat.
