If you are hitting some area for the first time then it will ask you to download. You could opt for download in the background while you continue doing whatever you are doing. Once installed there is hardly any loading while switching areas. All games in the common area and password locked Uncharted artifacts room are free. You have to set the MTU manually to whatever is configured in your wifi router. That will improve the download speed tremendously. It will be as fast as wired connection...
