Our advice: Go and get them as soon as you can. For a short time only, these items will be free. And you will retain them after Open Beta. But if you snooze on this you lose, because these will be for sale items after Open Beta, when we start our commerce model. Not to worry though, they will be cheap, and we will continue to have free items in Home on a regular basis. Consider this a thank you for being beta testers. You all are great! source maybe this is the update so does that mean they'll offer some stuff for free edit - Hey all, Just a quick heads up: Home will be down for several hours during the next day, from 11pm Wednesday, December 3rd 2008 until 6am Thursday, December 4th 2008 PT (2am Thursday, December 4th 2008 until 9am Thursday, December 4th 2008 ET). I know this is a bummer, but thanks for being patient with us - this is necessary to ensure that more cool stuff comes down the pipe to the community. We will update you as soon as we have the exact times. As a sign of gratitude, CydoniaX and I will be staying a little late tomorrow to host another event for you all. From 5pm – 7pm PT (8pm – 11pm ET) on Thursday, December 4th, we will host a two-hour long Bowling Tournament during which you will compete with your friends to see who can get the most strikes in a single game of Bowling. By snapping pics or screenshots of your scorecards and uploading them to the Home Beta forum, you will be entered into the official contest. The Top 5 scores will then be announced to the entire Home community. Sound fun? Of course it does. We'll be jumping around instances to chat and play games with you all. Somebody Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 got all the stuff... even the women stuff anyway, the stuff is great. summer house is awesome and the view is breath-taking. a few things i've noticed today are... -the water actually seems to be moving outside the summer house balcony. i dont remember seeing the moving sea water outside the harbour studio before. - i experienced a lot of frame rate issues when i went to central plaza today.... never happened before today. - i downloaded all the stuff at around 7:45pm and when i came back online at midnight i wasn't able to go to the clothing store again. it kept saying there's nothing in the store. and.... the Summer House is HUGE !!!!
